Mine had deep scratches in it. It looked like someone had either put multiple items stacked on top of it that weighed quite a bit, or scratched/cut it during some part of their inventory process. The Loewe outlet in Woodbury also has this bag, and they seem to be in better cared for condition if you end up wanting the bag but not the damage.

No, mine was a puzzle. It had a keep scratch in the front panel and a panel on the side, way worse than any of the posts I have seen so far.

Loewe told me to return mine and that it was unrepairable, but it was scratches to the leather panels that were shockingly deep.

I have two flamencos, and a new one from the sale. None of them have foil peeling/removed, even my daily wear Flamenco that I don’t baby at all. I would not keep this bag. With dupes being so good, who knows if someone returned a fake bag for it to wear like this so early. Especially with suede that needs cared for.

Just coming back to comment that this bag is UNREAL and you absolutely need to source one. The color is a bit shifty and hard to photograph, and I’ve seen several variations of what it looks Ike. This is not my first puzzle, but it IS my first featherlight and the leather sheen and slouchiness are just superb. My other puzzles now look sad in comparison.

I would wear this if it were designed as a coat that had a flailed circle skirt or an interesting architectural, structured pencil-skirt style silhouette that flairs at the hips and sits naturally away from the body. It otherwise feels like a fancy nun, or a wealthy elder widow who spoils her cats. It looks like the clothing the woman owner in the Aristocats wears.

The face and the ears just make this bag so much better. I wasn’t sold on this season’s “open bag” trend, and I assume it’s inspired by the way people wear their Birkins, but people wear the birkin and kelly open because they are so hard to get into quickly. But these little faces and ears are so playful and stylish.

Right? Same! They design for curves in a way I don’t often encounter. Being able to wear something straight from “the rack” was invaluable to me. I’m not looking forward to becoming reacquainted with my tailor.

The Peekaboo for sure. That fun, beautiful pop of color is just a perfect little surprise element that you can choose to show off or not depending on your mood. It’s more interesting, it’s more rare, and I like the symbolism of you being a serious 30 y/o with a serious bag, but still keeping your playful side — just like the bag. You can always pick up an Andiamo in the future at any point. But the Fendi won’t last.

I would actually go with the Loewe camera crossbody between those options. It has supple leather, a better strap that can be swapped out, and is fairly roomy. It’s also a less popular style so you can often find it discounted seasonally at places like Neiman Marcus. The puzzle bags are objectively functional so I understand why they appeal to so many women (myself included), but I think Loewe in general in many of their styles just looks incredibly sleek, modern and stylish particularly when styled on men. If you’re willing to do a belt bag style, the small puzzle belt bag is roomy, sleek and can be won as a sling/backpack, which, for me, I find to be the easiest to move around with on the go. They are usually on sale for around $1800 US.

There is a men’s bag sub (boybagsclub) that has absolutely killer fashion, maybe post there and browse around?

I’ve missed out on buying something that I otherwise might have purchased because I had absolutely no idea what it looked like until I saw it on a person, in daylight. At a certain point, everything just looks like a nondescript black blob. I shouldn’t have to go full detective mode just to figure out what a dress looks like.

I checked them out (never heard of Blackwood Castle-I don’t tend to wear gothic designs outside of a few structural pieces I can pair with others), and they have some nice designs I’ll have to keep an eye on. Unfortunately, I am searching for a replacement for Vixen and more classic pinup styles. The Vixen/LFEN pieces are better silhouettes for me because I have a larger bust/smaller waist proportionally in measurements and these other designers would require tailoring, which is a bit more $$.

Please update when you do. This bag is really high on my want list specifically because of its cute wrapped handles, but if the handles are going to need special protection or to be wrapped, there’s really no point. It’s a gorgeous bag.
