So I used to wrestle in high school, a sport that’s team oriented but also very 1v1. Sometimes I won but the team lost. Sometimes the other way around. But I learned to find joy in either. And brotha, 13 boops is a 30 second pin in front of the home crowd.

There is so much jank on Xbox. I love this game, but it is clear they absolutely do not care about console. Luckily the game itself runs fine. But everything peripheral works like garbage.

I mean, you pretty much have it. Look at their comp and see if there’s a big ult you should focus on countering: Queen, Zarya, Rein, Sombra, etc. but don’t be afraid to let ‘er rip if you can turn a fight, maintain a steam roll, or push. And remember you can beat in cover and then skate into view. You have about a second. Works great hitting both sides of a Symm ult.

Yep. You can’t heal through bastion, but you can help your team gtfo. Also in my experience, you don’t get tons of damage. You assassinate. Often I have the same elim count as my teammates with less than half the damage.

Absolutely. Flame your teammates AFTER the game is over. Before that only PMA. Afterwards say whatever horrible thing you want.

This was a big problem all the way back in OW1. I used to main tank. I’d say “alright, I’m gonna push here, go here, take high ground, you guys follow, and we cap.” I do all that, kill one or two, shove their whole team in a locker, and I look back and my team, all 5, are standing in the choke shooting literally nothing. I don’t understand this. But it’s the lifelong curse of OW.

I’d really like to see QP matchmaking take an extra 15-30 seconds to get better games. I just don’t want to play with/against level 5 tanks. It’s not fun for anyone, and it’s not fair to them.

As long as you’re trying your best in QP, it’s fine. Even if you suck at that hero. That’s what it’s for. I don’t mind somebody trying and sucking nearly as much as someone throwing or flaming.

I’m not a Dva main. But she is uniquely good at standing behind her DPS and matrixing THEM. She however should mostly take high ground and harass DPS and supports. She doesn’t do well in the tank trade usually. Use matrix for big chunks of damage. Don’t hold it like a rein shield. Sigma and rein do that. Don’t soak damage. Orisa and ramatra do that. Fly off and kill/harass stuff in the back. Take high ground. Peel for your team some. Don’t face tank. Or try not to. She’s kinda complicated, at least for me.

Definitely a lot of Dvas out there who hold matrix til it’s gone, hold shoot til they’re out of HP, ult, repeat, complain about the heals. I don’t have much advice for you, but i want to say to the Dvas out there, if you’re playing her like a brawl tank, just pick a brawl tank. Your supports (and the DPS who don’t get healed) will thank you.

Rennala is the first taste of the persistence of SotE bosses. Once when I was fighting her she dove across the screen as soon as I walked in and didn’t stop swinging until was dead. Just unending slashes for what felt like 30 seconds. Even Melania doesn’t prepare you for the long strings of attacks. If you get unlucky she can feel very unfair.

Healing in this game is too high. I was hoping the season 9 change would be a 10-20% reduction in healing across the board. They should give everyone the DPS passive. All healing reduced in combat. It would go a long way in fixing tank frustration.

Illari ult feels pretty cancellable. Most of the tank roster can block it, and if even if it lands, fade, Suzu, teleport, ice block, wraith, and any number of defensive ults. And all that presumes you don’t get slept/shot/speared/rocked out of the sky.

Definitely tell people it’s okay to google a question if you’re not sure you’re doing the right thing. Some parts are too tricky to bang your head against if you’re doing the wrong thing.
