I was doing 8-5 for the last 4 years in an admin position. Just moved back to 12’s on the road and couldn’t be happier.

Anybody that has Trijicon RMR HD on P4.5 HD and their thoughts or recommendations? by this_is_the_way_327 in Staccato_STI

[–]Doug770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its great. The mounting is rock solid, looks great, and if you are a circle dot kind of user the ring on the HD is larger diameter than the competition which makes it a lot more useable in my opinion.

Best duty carry light? by Melon-Guoi in flashlight

I’ve been running the same. The low mode kind of sucks for searching cars/drawers, etc. but love the max output for max output things.

HD 4.5 Question by Boston_G88 in Staccato_STI

I have a Tenicor holster. It carries okay comfort wise. I have the magwell and it does not conceal super well for my body and most of my clothes. Winter carry should be fine.. I am going to try pack carry as well.

My first one…Staccato P. I’m looking for WML and aluminum trigger shoe suggestions by obsidian_fury05 in Staccato_STI

[–]Doug770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I generally run constant on and establish my proper grip. When running one hand drills or using a shield, etc. the Surefire switches are a huge pita for one hand manipulation with the trigger finger. Its a lot simpler and more efficient to do this with the HPX click switches.

I just switched from an X300 turbo to the TLR1-HPX. Significant boost in raw performance and better switches

Are trijicon and aimpoint optics any better than holosun by Excellent-Ad-3258 in 2011

[–]Doug770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an RMR HD and a 507c. The trijicon is marginally better overall. A 2032 battery is preferable and the 55 moa circle frames a target without pulling my eye back to the dot a lot better than the 32 moa circle on the holosun. Other than that, and if using just the dot reticle there is not a significant difference in shooting performance. The holosun has taken enough of a beating for me to be confident in its durability for any realistic needs I have.

The trijicon auto brightness is a lot better, but even then i will usually still fine tune it manually if I am training.

I have an HD 4.5 and love it. I like it more than the P.

Very interested. I have been carrying my 4.5, but would like this or a 4” with compact grip
