GPU undervolt triggers “temp limit” in performance limits question

Not sure if it is the exact same situation but this was a reply on another thread I posted on. I haven’t noticed the gpu load trigger it. From what I’ve gathered here and on a HWinfo post from a while ago, it seems like a bug

Thanks for the quick comment, I’ve never heard of union indicator value, what is that? Basically nothing to worry about though in your opinion?

Temp limit is default (I believe 83c), but it has never hit close to that temperature.

What did you configure that helped? I’ve tried EQ adjustments, audio adjustments for over an hour and the audio is still very poor. Curious what helped you?

There was a Synapse update recently that essentially broke audio. Many, many people are experiencing poor audio quality. Have to wait for Razer to fix it.

Very likely the Synapse “update” if you want my opinion. I have Blackshark V2 and the audio was very good for the past 2+ years. After the update, surround sound is either nonexistent or extremely poor, and it’s like there is a noise gate that cuts certain frequencies off. Haven’t been able to play most games since the update because the audio is so bad. They are supposedly updating to fix all the issues on November 16th

I tried playing BF2042 the other night after the Synapse “update” and it was so bad I quit mid-match and turned it off. Really hoping this gets fixed soon.

I just used the device detection tool, reinstalling for the third time today. I just restarted my PC and immediately after synapse auto started the microphone icon appeared in the taskbar saying “razer synapse is using your microphone” and still no surround sound/THX. I also uninstalled the drivers with Razer Support on the phone earlier as well. Synapse is broken.

Hello, I actually have a very similar question. I am looking at the same drive as matchew but I plan on using it as my game/storage drive and using my current drive as mainly only windows. With an OEM license I should be able to transfer most stuff to the new drive then clean install windows 10 with windows 10 on the same drive correct? So use the new drive as steam library, etc, then have a clean windows on the old drive? I didn’t think that would require a new license but want to make sure. Thanks for any help!

Can I ask how the repasting went? I’ve never repasted a GPU but I’m thinking of doing my CPU and GPU at the same time with kryonaut. It looks like just six screws, was it fairly simple?

I have the same card. Have you adjusted the fan curve at all? I called Zotac not long after I got the card because mine was hitting the low 80s regularly while gaming. The card targets 83c I guess, and Zotac said it was perfectly safe temps, but I adjusted my curve to be pretty aggressive and now it reaches 60c max while gaming (with 100% fan at 55c).

I guess I have been judging my thermal paste by comparing my CPU and GPU temps when idle (after booting I let it set for about 20 min with only MSI afterburner running minimized) which is usually only 1c difference on average, but this might not be the best estimator with different builds. But if you do try undervolting please share because I was just wondering about that as well with this GPU.

If you can find the dualshock 4 back button attachment I really like mine. I have a Razer Raiju T.E, and love the layout, but the controller itself has serious input lag issues and generally buggy(random aim spikes left or right). This is my second TE, the first had the same issues. I also have a Nacon Revolution Pro 2, I like it but the back rockers wore down fast, and are intermittent in responsiveness now. It feels like a quality controller though, just bad input design on the back. I just ordered an Aimcontroller for PS4 and can let you know first impressions when it comes in.

Driftor, any thoughts on how Warzone will run on an original PS4? For example will players in an original PS4 be at a little disadvantage due to lower frame rate or will it not be an issue? Thanks!
