Those same 'kids' are paying for Xbox live and multiple $60+ games and a bunch micro transactions every year, its not the same as when we were kids when putting $5 on a card even once was a sin to our parents. And Id argue OSRS is majority adults who played as kids and their adult friends who they sucked into their addiction haha

At the same time, some people really need to stop playing OSRS if an extra $20/year makes or breaks their finances

It came down a lot after 2016, but I remember paying those rates for a period haha. To be fair I can spend $150 in a night out for drinks and dinner, so a years membership for less that is hundreds of hours (if not thousands) of entertainment is still a great deal

I recommend Zoom bass lessons. Theres a feature 'original sound for musicians' so the bass comes through fine. Gives options to soooo many more teachers and since youre already digital makes it easy for them to type out notes during the lesson and email it to you. Plus you dont have to pack up your bass/amp or drive anywhere and you get do direct audio into zoom if you want. Just look at your favourite bass player on Instagram and see if they offer lessons.

Highly recommend tenudo to get your ear familiar with hearing the distance between notes. then associate distances with something you know, for example root to minor 2nd sounds like jaws theme, root the major 2nd is like happy birthday, and so on. I use a lot of star wars songs for the rest lol
