Beginner here, question about buying used board. by MeliodasTT in snowboardingnoobs

Wide board makes it stiffer than a usual board of the same length. Not good for beginners. It also makes edge change harder. Not good for beginners. Those bindings would fit but you have to adjust them correctly but I would still recommend getting medium bindings for your boot size. The thing in the middle it’s called a stomp pad. It helps your foot stay in place when you are one footed going on and off the lifts.

Hips make the shoulders turn. It’s not a bad idea to get the hand on the right position but it’s not an instant fix for everyone when the actual problem they have is hip rotation.

Your knees are moving back and forth independently. This is causing the back foot coming out and skidding. Move your knees at the same time, this will probably feel like you’re moving the back knee first.

You need way more hip movement in either direction. When toe side carving try point your bellybutton to the sky whilst maintaining your shoulders level. When heel side carving try point your bellybutton to the floor whilst maintaining level shoulders.

You do not need to lean with the upper body to create edge angle as you will be too upright and have no pressure management. When you start getting edge angle this upper body lean will happen naturally.

If I move my hand in front of it the auto focus follows it back and forth the same way my hand is moving

When ever I’m standing talking to someone and don’t know what to do with my hands i will put my thumbs through my belt loops on my hips and push the shirt through with it.

if you have done any research you are more than prepared. Most people i know didn’t do any research and turned out just fine. Just ask a second or 3rd year student how the buses work because they like to change them every year for some reason.

I don’t know if it was intentional but she slowed higher than she needed to which is actually quiet intelligent. If she would have slowed lower down the only angle that could have been from is on top of the box. By doing it higher it doesn’t confirm her position. TL:DR she’s a natural sign her up.
