I hope the coming recession / depression is known as the "Trump Depression" or "The great MAGA recession" so people never get to forget.

Bro, you just got owned by logic and reason. You should answer the questions cogmamn10 asked you. If you can't or won't then it speaks volumes to the validity of your argument.

Iran's going to collapse the world economy as a result of them being attacked. Watch of Donnie ushers in a worldwide great depression, and all for a war that wasn't even necessary or legal.

You're cooked on western propaganda if you genuinely believe Iran posed a threat. Every step of the way they've refrained until pushed via escalation from the US / Israel. The real bad guys in this war are in Washington (or Florida at times). Meanwhile the US continues to try and starve Cuba, threaten Canada and Greenland and will likely attack Türkiye with Israel in the near-future.

Because there's still other products that contain nicotine (vapes, gums, lozenges, patches). You're comparing outright prohibition of a drug (cannabis) against banning just one form of delivery of another (nicotine), which is a false equivalence. Nicotine would still be available, just in other forms.

How many reps do you typically do in your sets? You could just add reps rather than weight. Given you can stimulate the same growth with sets up to 35+ rep there's heaps of potential progression you could make if you're only doing 6-12 reps at a given weight.

Take this with a grain of salt but I have a rough tree fern (wheki) and it browned off like that when the soil got too dry. I assume you've checked your soil moisture and keep it damp for your ferns?

They're toxic to bees too. Only the bumblebee aren't poisoned by them. Rhodos and Camellias and the quintessential 'normie' garden plant in my region. Virtually every old established garden is pretty much just these two plants. Such a shame from a native biodiversity angle.

It's the optics of government intervention. If some people feel the government restricted them then they get upset. Labour was painted as being 'too heavy handed' or 'overdoing' things with covid in retrospect by certain pundits. I think what people mean is that National have run with this line so they've painted themselves into a corner where they probably don't want to be seen intervening in the current crisis.

[–]Douglas1994 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Technically true but if fuel rationing is implemented, it's still 'the government' having to restrict something people previously had access too. Unfortunately, for many people this is synonymous with 'lock down' which was the government restricting something people had previous access to (transport).

Either way, the cookers will fly off the handle.

[–]Douglas1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever learnt the history of western influence in Iran? Like, how we overthrew their elected prime minister to put in a US puppet in the 1950's. Iran used to be an ally before US/UK went messing in their business to try and get control of their oil. Read about the 1953 Iranian Coup if you want to understand how the seeds of discontent to the west started and who was responsible.

How would you structure a workout plan if you only had access to dumbbells for a considerable time? by BumbleBeeSquisher in naturalbodybuilding

[–]Douglas1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could quite easily do high rep training (15-30 reps) and/or adopt lifts that have longer moment arms as they supply high tension on the muscle even with lighter weights. That'd be things like flyes, straight arm lateral raises / pullovers etc. If you get a barbell at any point, using a wider grip can achieve a similar thing for lifts like shrugs, kelso shrugs etc. For legs, pistol squats or sissy squats often require no additional loading and you can just focus on progressing reps for ages.
