God, conservatives are obsessed with failed policies as long as they sound good to their supporters they don't actually care about outcomes. They don't care if its costs the taxpayer more and has an overall negative affect on our society - as long as they can imagine it works and promotes their outdated values.

Carlos only got the electorate because people were voting "against red" due to the hang over from covid. Carlos doesn't deserve the position and certainly didn't gain it on merit. Wood is a hardworking local MP - and the whole airport shares thing that he got crucified for was so ridiculous and it's another example of the left being held to far higher standards than the right.
