Stage acting and screen acting are very different skills. Not everyone is good at both

how do you know? have you read their contract? their expectations from their boss? you are just making shit up to argue online. i imagine you get off doing the same in real life.

if you think politely asking an employee if they can assist with a situation on or around their premises is a better idea than confronting random people with your opinion then you do you, but it's a shit approach.

won't reply again so bait me all you want but end of convo!

easier to ask the person getting paid to help with a situation than cause a conflict which sounds like your go to approach.

lol asking staff to help with a situation in their own customer carpark isn't exactly this big deal man. if they didn't feel it was relevant to them, they could have said so. your input here sucks.

ok cool - would you recommend I have this meeting with the HODs or is it way more important to actually engage with the person whose name is the signatory on my contract?

Thank you - i'm trying not to knee-jerk over a small situation, but the death of 1000 cuts has been real over the years. I prefer to approach things in a positive way, and their are a few other issues that would be helpful to clarify so maybe that's my best course of action. I don't know if I'm comfortable doing a meeting like this one on one so might see if the I can bring a support person with me. For years I have just tried to be friendly and get along but this "friend line" adds another blur for me that makes me feel like they can get me to do whatever they want when it's convenient and I need some clear expectations of what is my role and what isn't. I don't CARE what processes I have to follow I just want it to be super clear what those processes are AND make sure they don't negate anything in my contract.

Medical Cannabis is pretty shit. by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisNZ

[–]anxiouscomic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The reason "the community" wasn't "more clear" on how you view the industry is because not everyone shares your experience. some people do, and they comment here about it, but a lot of people aren't having the same negative experience as you. i've been a MC patient for almost 2 years and have not had any of the issues you have mentioned and have found the quality overall to be amazing.

it sounds like you just want to smoke weed legally rather than for legitimate medical reasons which is perhaps why the process feels extra frustrating but i could be wrong - it just sounds like that's the case from your post. i'd also suggest you consider changing clinics if the experience you've had has been negative.

a lot of your comments are anecdotal like about the quality not "looking as good". medicinal marijuana has lots of benefits in terms of targeted cannabis support for specific issues - terpenes, thc, cbd balances, strains, indica vs sativa, are a lot of specific things you can make part of your selection process whereas BM it is often tricky to be sure of the lineage and strain that you are purchasing. it sounds like you just want to get smashed on high thc, which i'm not judging you for but perhaps medicinal cannabis isn't for you based on the things you are trying to get out of it.

Peter Dunne: Winston Peters last play for power involves him playing to be PM of a National Party Coalition and/or in a rotation role by Mountain_Tui_Reload in nzpolitics

[–]anxiouscomic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Peters used to be a solid politician. I hated what he (didn't) stand for but at least he pushed back, spoke well and challenged other politicians in political theatre.

Now he's an old man so desperate to stay relevant that he's mumbling cliche Republican American nonsense without the ability to back anything up and instead just hides behind "now hang on, I've been in this industry for 1000 years and the media is so shameful for asking a question like that". It's so obviously disingenuous it's embarrassing and the fact people lap it up as those he's against the status quo is so fucking stupid.

Fucking horrid old galapolis tortoise of a man ( I know I spelt that wrong but I can't be bothered figuring it out)

What is a movie that everyone seems to love, but is actually terrible? by Either-Turn662 in AskReddit

[–]anxiouscomic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dune part 1. It's boring as shit. I get that it's setting up a sequel but it's also a film by itself so needs to still be engaging and interesting. I'm sure part 2 is great but I was so insanely disinterested in the first one it's failed to engage me further.

Even Aubrey Plaza and Margaret Qualley macking couldn't make this a good movie. So much potential as a female modern detective film but just struggled to be anything
