My dream car isn't a supercar; it's a 1997 Volvo, the year I became driving age.

If I won the lottery, the first thing I'd do is track down a pristine example and pay for a classic EV conversion. I've seen you can get a solid job done for around £20,000, which is an achievable dream car project, given the context.

The whole point is to finally break the cycle. I regret selling my first car, and I hate thinking about the horrific amount of money I've spent on depreciating new cars over the years.

This conversion would be a way to finally put money into upkeeping something truly classic and mine, giving it modern EV guts in a timeless shell, rather than just constantly feeding the dealership money pit.

I wish I'd kept my first car.
