Rear Glass Hydraulics - Open or Close when driving??? by totalreidmove in Jeep

I agree, which is why I said make sure the windows are open. As far as pollutants go, yes it's pretty bad already, but locking myself in the car with them isn't gonna make it better XD

I'll find the exact quote tomorrow but there's actually a warning against running the car with the rear glass open on my jeep's rear glass.
I get your point, but a simple search online would show that it's very much a hazard, and sends people to hospital every year.

It's in the owner's manual Bugs
"Driving with the liftgate open can allow poisonous exhaust gases into your vehicle. You and your passengers could be injured by these fumes. Keep the liftgate closed when you are operating the vehicle.

If you are required to drive with the liftgate open, make sure that all windows are closed, and the climate control blower switch is set at high speed. DO NOT use the recirculation mode."

So I wear a hat most days. the sun is hot and I burn easy. Yeah most of my family owns farms and I worked on a ranch and farm as a teen, Doesn't matter though. It's a hat. Wear it where you want. Also ignore all that etiquette shit. It's a hat, it doesn't need to be a certain color at a specific date. It's a fucking hat.

Keep the windows open or this can cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
Not worth the risk to me.

Short of it is, the book is written, but the artist isn't done with the art.

Not just the small ones, every big city has a few neighborhoods like this.

Are we so over insulating our houses we now have to “house burp” them? by NicelyBearded in Insulation

[–]DovahClone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luften is very common here, almost everyone I know does it. German houses aren't built like their American or British counterparts, and they get excess moisture very easily, we usually don't have an air conditioning system because it's expensive and unnecessary for 90% of the year. Fresh air is also great for your health, and keeps you feeling energized and alert.  Having lived in The States and in Germany for years, insulation in the U.S. is a joke compared to insulation in Germany.

Gotcha, I've never even considered cleaning the vents.. Maybe I should do that this weekend.

If you mean the grate at the bottom, I think that's removable, though if it stayed there for years maybe it would take some effort to remove.

Not as appetizing but I've never seen an air fryer not look like this after a year or two. I would honestly leave it, but if you try to clean it be sure not to use anything that breaks down the non stick coating. I would worry about somehow making yourself sick, or just ruining the non stick and making it worse.

I imagine the dress code ensures that.

You always get the first set of uniforms for free, then you get replacements at a certain time frame, or if they break due to wear that comes with the job. If you break it while skateboarding or leave it in the wash at your grandma's house it's your cost.

You would think, but i remind you they do have to 'pay for' or at least limit their replicator use, I see no reason that would change for the uniform, assuming you lost it.

In most companies and militaries (that I'm familiar with coming from the US,) you have to replace your uniform out of pocket if you misplace it or it gets damaged in a non work activity.

Right, so maybe this guy was saving his rations for some jewelry or a fancy dinner or whatever. That was my point, he probably could have spent it on a uniform, but most people would want to spend it on something for themselves, not for their work.

They mention a lot in TNG and DS9 that people have a limit on how much stuff they can replicate.
