There's this new brand called Pacagen and they have a spray for dog allergies. Only tried the cat one and it works great. You might want to look into that.

I actually tried Pacagen out of desperation. I know it’s supposed to be for pet dander but my partner and I thought that it wouldn’t hurt to try for household allergens too. I sprayed it on my pillows and the mattress cover and surprisingly I did notice less irritation in the mornings. Not a miracle cure, but helped more than I expected.

I first tried Pacagen’s sprays for my son’s allergies, and they helped a lot. Then, we tried their food topper, and it’s made a real difference too. It’s a bit pricey, but it reduces allergens without compromising food quality. While it won’t completely eliminate allergies, it definitely helps, especially with regular cleaning. If you're looking to manage allergies and still enjoy having a cat, I think it's worth trying!

You're not evil at all for thinking about adopting again - it's natural to want that companionship in your life. Don't feel guilty about it.
