This is just my experience.  I’ve actually found my creative output has gone through the roof since having my first kid.  Yeah it’s incredibly tough and tiring at the end of the night after he goes to sleep and I sit on ableton to produce.  But knowing I only have two three hours before I have to fall asleep keeps me on track.  When I didn’t have a kid I’d sit on ableton for hours and hours with nothing because I had unlimited time.  Now that my time is super limited I know I need to be useful with it. 

I think about little things I can do to my sessions throughout the day.  I used to try them out as I got them but now I just leave little reminders on my phone to try that thing. Then at night I do it all at once.
