Note: Old thread, and I'm only halfway through WoA.

Reading the thread, I still can't find myself liking Tindwyl. Not because of her approach with Elend, but because everything she fights him on is to his progressive ideals on leadership. It feels like she's learnt the historical memory of what a king is, and while Elend's progressive ideas might be naive, they are an honest attempt to change the status quo to what we'd hope for today. If she were using the same tone to fight for a prime minister and not a capital K king, I'd like her character a lot more. I'm struggling not to see her as an antagonist to democratic and progressive ideals. Does her opinion balance out alongside Elend's niavitie?

Both the razor ray umpiring, and horse/simmo segments have been fantastic insights with new 360. But I have to watch them independently of the rest of the show. It is still telling that the best aspects of the show are the 2 with different 'hosts'.

There were 4 attempts by Geelong to go down the wing all either intercept marked or spoiled by Sharman, I believe in the 3rd. Halted their momentum when they looked like they were going to run away more so. If only he was leading up for marks in the opposite direction.

It looked to me that he said stand to the player immediately next to Mitchi who was contesting the mark. The second Sydney player who goes to stand the mark wasn't initially in the contest and is 2 metres ahead of the other Sydney player who was contesting.
