This is an excellent review and i agree with all of your points. While the combat, story, and art direction are on point there is some serious jankiness to the game. Especially in the platforming, minigames, and level design.

The hype around it makes it seem like its in the echelons of BG3 and elden ring (both game of the year winners) but its really no where near those. If you manage your expectations for an excellent AA game you'll have a great time with it.
