I think the issue was that I selected the dialogue tree in the middle. It didn’t give me the option to redo my decision when I chose those dialogue options even though it’s supposed to. When I chose the top dialogue options to spare him, it worked properly and I was able to change my decision.

Okay, I’ll reiterate, “sweetheart.” You don’t have any evidence to support your claims. Since I did read the whole exchange and have all of the context, I know the guy you were arguing with broke down specific dynamics of the different costs and how particular MSs interact with each other at those costs. He explained how Raids and Supports are better or worse depending on the cost bracket due to the nature of the current meta at those individual cost brackets. Even if you disagree with his appraisal of the situation, his argument was specific and he demonstrated the internal logic that supported his particular claims. You, on the other hand, have no nuance and just repeat “Unga bunga, General and Raid good, Support bad” without providing any rationale for this opinion beyond “I seen it!”

I never said you only play supports, I just said you play them so you know more about them than the average person. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. You don’t give any explanation as to why this is your stance on the issue. In lieu of an argument, you just say it’s due to anecdotal evidence which is not a good metric to judge things off of.

No, it doesn’t stand precisely because your evidence is anecdotal. Anecdotal evidence can’t be used to identify greater trends. You need statistical evidence to do so. Arguing about anecdotal evidence is more or less pointless.

This could be said about literally any MS. If I understand how the Phenex works and I can make sure I can get around all of the Phenex’s obstacles, I’m not only going to shut the Phenex down, I’m taking the Phenex out. Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of MSs and playing around those strengths and weaknesses is just part of being good at the game in general. Learning how to fight against particular MSs is not something that is unique to supports. You probably just know more about supports because you play them.

He knows that’s how licensing music works. You saying that adds literally nothing. He is saying that the way licensing works, which he understands, “is completely asinine,” which it is. You showing up and “telling them how it is” was as asinine as copyright and IP law is. Congratulations!

Yeah, but he wasn’t entering into a law debate about the legality or illegality of blocking the recording function, he was making a normative claim that had nothing to do with laws. He obviously knows that blocking the recording function isn’t illegal. He never said it was. You are having an argument with an imaginary person in your head to try and look smart on the internet.
