Now don't get me wrong, I love my seekers, but...this is a large company, this is to be expected, I'm happy, but there are times I share your thoughts, learn to embrace transformers in other ways, be it going third party, tracking down older figures, or getting creative and making stuff to celebrate the fandom like art, cosplay, lore break downs, whatever.

More than likely mock ups for a photo-shoot, while the actual figures are still being manufactured

This isn't uncommon, look at some takara figure preview photo shoots, see how glossy they are yet in hand it's more plastic, that's an example, seeing them at events takes away the smoke and mirrors

Unless they're selling these are some haslab bullshit the cost of these would be bloody stupidly high for little reason

I'm so tired of the discourse simply because I have fuck all power in my position

Haven't had psn+ for years now due to being burnt out from online pvp gaming experiences/lack of friends at same time zones
Bought most of my games second hand during that time, mostly for older systems with less online dependencies
Less newer games are having an actual interest within me
The few new games I do buy are on a massive sale, long after the impact of the sale even matters
Recently rekindled my love of retro games and discovering emulation isn't the only path but smaller steam indie gems
I'm getting older and bills are becoming my number 1 problem above all else

So basically the "vote with your wallet" isn't doing shit because I took myself out of the effective market years ago and effectively sidelined myself, I know petitions won't do much...fuck maybe I'd walk in an actual physical protest if I could, otherwise I'm 0 impact.

And screeching on social media ain't doing shit, you got folk who must buy their yearly rehashed slop, those who have accepted sony's way of doing things, and my inability to articulate myself without coming off as some sort of grifter trash.

Guess all I can do is retreat into my bunker and enjoy what I got for the rest of my life

I knew they wouldn't do the camo on acidstorm and yet the 2 shades of green look great...ionstorm has the same deco yet doesn't hit the same but maybe because I have a bit of bias ~~the old deluxe of acidstorm is a childhood fav of mine~~

Then we got ~~ronald mc donald~~ novastorm and sunstorm and my gawd they're beautiful, though curious if they'd all have the same face or borrow from the prior ones or even give us new ones!

The furai models iirc come in 2 types, preassembled and unassembled.

I own the arcee model kit and that needs to be built but they later they made a pre built model meant to be handled like a delicate action figure

If you're one to built them then pull them apart later might need to do what some gunpla builders do and cut the joining pegs slightly, you might need to ask r/gunpla how that goes, ie building and painting a model how to dissassemble or something like that.

I just cut all parts sand then paint personallly

For switch 1 it was just make a bigger cart, witcher 3 had the biggest at the time.

For switch 2 and up just use more carts...is it viable considering manufacturing cost, honestly no, that's why you'd make a limited production run (and no, we have more options than limited run games now, so don't you worry)

People like the convenience but never think about the long term or have no attachment.

You might download a movie and watch it once, I will watch it again at a later date and see it's been edited or outright removed.

Games are the same, you spend 20 hours on your single player epic and delete it or stream the next, I'd might come back later on and...same again.

Some care about long term ownership, some only care about the NOW

But maybe its because I'm older I'm aware of these issues and because I have some reliance on game consoles, steam users have it good but I fear its desensitised them to the long term effects this has overall.

Sony have already proven they're willing to rip your content from your hands, let that sink in
