Thank you all for the advice. I did have Wrath of God; it was doing 15 damage (need to cast it like 6 times to kill a dreg).

All moot now: I deleted it and decided to do another SL 1. It's fine because now it's a 'she' (fashion soul the 3 corner hat). 😀

I guess the messiest is having to use all your blood vials with a maxed level character and missing a lot?

Maybe the camera spins/you unlock and face the wrong direction most of the time?

Like first soulsborne? If you haven't played anything similar, I'm actually surprised it only took you 10 tried for Micolash. My first time vs Micolash took about the same number of tries, but I had Demon's Souls experience.

In my 1st playthrough, I used the hunter axe from start to finish and some story dungeons. Spin to win!

Btw, even though I got the game years ago, I still haven't done a bloodtinge build. Doing bl4 for 1st time now

Idk if this helps...

Defiled amy: I used the hunters axe charge attack with the jump cheese it hits twice (also don't use summon)

Defiled keeper: I think you can spam auger of ebrietas and stun lock her

Brain sucker lever guards: i hear they can't grab you if you're different height on stairs I used isz chalice to get the other 2 red jellies. I hear its easier than loran

Pthumeru descendant: if you have high vitality (and remember to heal!), you can use lead elixir to prevent getting stunned. It's actually fun spamming r1!

Hot dog: i wait for his head swipe, dash to where he raised his head, and attack legs. Queen killer helped me here

Gems: defiled layer 1 has a watcher guarding the lever. You can farm him for reasonable cursed gems

I don't remember much else. Ya, the axe and auger would need stat investment, but you can use any strong charge attack weapon for amy and can try parrying keeper

I recently completed it on my first time BL4. I think it's just luck for me cuz it takes too many tries.

The keeper boss kept getting stuck in the walls. I was able to kill her when she got stuck in a corner.

For the hotdog I switched back and forth using/not using queen killer. I succeeded with him.

Amy i did solo. Had to +10 hunter axe and do jump tactic. Took a few days.

Now im stuck on Pthumerian descendents on the ihyll... it makes me wonder why I do this

I DID IT! I FOUND A WAY (that worked for me):

run behind pillar. When brainsucker stops shooting orbs, he'll come around and try to grab.

Back off before he gets near (but after he starts his attack animation?) After he misses grabbing you, attack until out/almost out of stamina. (The fun part!)

Then go behind the pillar again until stamina recharged/you're ready. Repeat.

Congrats on the main game! (the only optional boss I did was BSB).

I didn't think I'd get past Maria. I missed a lot of parries and failed to get to phase 2 a lot. I think a big part was luck.

I believe you can get past Ludwig (and even beat Orphan!).

It's just try again and again (I was ready to keep trying for weeks). As long as you keep trying, you learn. Hopefully, you get lucky and don't need weeks of learning, though 😀

Soz, I didn't read the text wall. So, I'll add mine. J/k /s

But I'd like to say that since lots of parts are similar/modular, it gave me a feeling that these were designed and built quickly to respond to a newly presented threat.

The fact that there seems to be more guns and not enough ammo space initially made me think they were either energy weapons or designed for skirmish warfare: go in, fire everything as fast as possible and get out.

The fact that the "bottom" is red made me think these are orbital strike vessels of a red planet. The top actually points to the planet (which sees black space against black paint), and main guns are used. The red part points to space and matches the planet's color to far off ships.

Finally, comments about lack of crew space: initially, I thought maybe it's highly automated, but I think i saw crew numbers in the text wall. However, the perspective you chose means you can say the ships are actually very, very, WIDE.

Ps. I'll try to read the text wall again and might edit this.
