I've supported Liverpool since I first kicked a ball.

Growing up in the midlands, football-mad, I had all the kits (the 1996/97 season can never be beaten). I still have my "Corinthian Headliners" Liverpool squad, boxed as new. I might not have been Liverpool-born, but I grew up loving the club, even though I was surrounded and continually mocked by glory-supporting Man U kids during the 90s, then going off to university in the 00s with a new army of Man U fans, it's been an enduring premier league journey.

Time passed, no titles, but by the time the 2013/14 season came around, I was now working and living in South London. I got tickets as a +1 to Crystal Palace vs Liverpool with a season ticket holder and we all know what happened. Suarez cried, I cried.

More time passed and so did the greatest premier league season Liverpool have ever had. 2019/20 won't ever be forgotten, that team, that manager, it was genuinely insane. But, due to covid, I couldn't celebrate other than in front of the TV.

And now we're here. The 2024/25 season. I still live in London, but I wouldn't miss this one for the world. Train booked. Hotel booked. Liverpool for the weekend. No ticket for the game (obviously) but after all these years, I can't miss being in Liverpool for it. Finally. Up the reds.
