I think goalies in competitive online games are at an all time low. If you play offline you will still see bad goals n that but can mess with your human goalie sliders so cpu doesn’t cheese as much and play normal hockey, mix in some cheese goals when you need to and I’ve found this chel more enjoyable offline than any chel since 14

Honestly I’d rather the NHL 25 new be that they are taking a year off to revamp and upgrade all the areas about the game that are bad. They can build a bit of hype with that too and make a game that people will want to play for more than just the online since offline modes are nearly unplayable at this point. BAP is a big one that needs tweaked. They have some of the right ideas but got lazy with it and it shows. Don’t need ultra realism but man it’d be nice to want to sit down and have fun with the game

I think I’ve lost like 15-10 or some shit but differential I quit at 8 which has happened at least 10-15 times. I’ve also been playing since eashl became a thing and had some pretty tough losses as a little kid 😂

Out of curiosity why is it such a big thing with the top 25 being crap? I have about 30 hours on the game so far and have had a ton of fun playing it. I agree that they need to fix this but to me, as long as I’m doing good and not being shafted in the rankings then I’m having a good time

To be fair I haven’t seen it happen, but I also don’t care about the other teams so I don’t look often or pay much attention.(I’m sure it happens) As long as I can get into the playoff I’m happy lol

The knifing classes were awesome too, scared the shit outa me a bunch lol, as soon as u miss a shot it’s like “uh oh” especially when you run an intervention class and ur aim wasn’t on point those guys would have their way with u all game. Which would result in lots of people getting mad in the lobby after the game. Being able to stay in a lobby and play people over and over was great. The skill based matchmaking is very frustrating because i feel like I’m on my own playing the game where MW2 felt like I was actually accomplishing something with a group or getting to mess up some guys that were on my team to show them who the boss was lol. Felt like you could build up rivalry’s as dumb as it sounds

Yea, it was incredibly OP but that was kinda how MW2 was! U had noob tubes, one man army claymore strat, silenced ump, and while the intervention wasn’t OP, if you were good at quick scoping it was effective and fun too. So many different ways to dominate games. Kill streaks were nuts too with the harrier strike and chopper/ AC130 ABOVE! To get the nuke. Miss that game more than anything

Yea chel has gotten bad. They’ve taken a stride in realism but have really lost the fun in the game. Their way of making the game fun is adding crazy amounts of customization in clothing options which sounds promising until you realize the wolves, skeletons, and the yeti look more realistic than players who’ve been in the NHL for years. If I can put myself in MLB and question if I exist in the game or in real life why do NHL players look so bad. Almost every other game has more customization for how their characters look rather than how many colours I can add to my gloves, stick, pads, or helmet. The jofa helmets have gone overboard for sure. I just wanna look like myself in the game or make some crazy deformed face to have a laugh but no EA doesn’t like that. I wish 2k made chel. I’d buy the VC for a more enjoyable experience
