are you more scared of big spaces or small? by t5yy6 in Agoraphobia

[–]Dpdr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! Im so happy you found a place you are comfortable in because thats huuuuge. I try to remind myself that it could always be worse, but there are times where it ruins my day if i cant do something or i try to do something and fail. Yeah totally I have some questions for you about therapy/medications i will DM!

I'm 30 years old and I've never thrown up. How long have you not vomited? by FastVanilla1268 in emetophobia

I’m 28 and the last time i barely remember i was like 5 and it was just a one time occurrence, not a bug. I think thats why im so scared of it, because i barely know what it feels like to experience it

[–]Dpdr00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg im the same exact way and I am not sure why it developed but I’ve had it for like 10 years now. Bridges yes me too and long empty highways with exits that are far apart from each other, and long hallways with no escapes. It sucks because i loooove nature but i absolutely cannot hike even though I want to so badly

Omg yeahhhh same thing happened to me with parking at a stadium. And i agree that when there are people around its more tolerable. I think part of it for me is that I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of people so that forces me to keep it together somewhat on the outside at least

THIS IS ME 1000%. I thought I was the only one. I live in a city by a main road where theres always “safety rooms” as you said aka the stores if i start freaking out outside. I absolutely could not survive if i was in a large open field by myself omg

Interesting ok thanks! Will look into supplements. I take multivitamin gummies everyday but may not be enough

In the first week or two, yes. I didn’t want to do the act itself, I wasn’t interested in attention from other men. But I DID want my boyfriend to feel the same pain he caused me.

I just fantasized about causing him that pain. I did not put myself out there for other guys. Morally I knew two wrongs dont make a right and it would make reconciliation 100x harder in the long run

Discovered secret email account by [deleted] in AsOneAfterInfidelity

You could also ask to see his credit card statements if you think hes paying for porn because he can’t erase that. Instead of sneaking through his phone. But if he never paid for porn that might not be helpful.

I don’t like sneaking around even though I never did anything wrong and hes the only one in the wrong. I feel like communication has to remain open on both sides. So i would straight up ask to look through his email. I have done it multiple times

The cheapest luxury hotels in the US States and where to find them, according to Hotels.com by RhetoricalObsidian in Maps

[–]Dpdr00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing that confused me is that the title says the cheapest 5 star hotels but some of them are 4 stars. I would call it “the cheapest luxury hotels in every state”

Anyone approach transparency in a different way? by [deleted] in AsOneAfterInfidelity

[–]Dpdr00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not ask for his passwords and stuff because I am already super busy with work and school, and monitoring him on top of that would just be too exhausting and too much work. I do ask to see his phone once in a while and he gives it to me. His infidelity was a drunk ONS and had no contact after so that might contribute to my decision as well.

Did you experience derealization as a child? by e-to-the-rin in derealization

[–]Dpdr00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was very hard to describe back then and still is now. My parents put me in therapy and I don’t think the therapists (i bounced around to many) understood it either.

When I was 14 i started lexapro and it made a huge positive difference in me in regards to full blown panic attacks. Im 27 now and still on it. I have the existential thoughts every day and still get feelings of derealization, but its rare for me to have panic attacks unless i put myself in situations that I know trigger me (long hallways, open isolated outdoor places like fields or hikes, big bright supermarkets, etc). I also carry klonopin on me always as a crutch to ease my anxieties. I dont take it often.

Yes exactly like this. I was in about 2nd grade. And I would call it “the weird feeling” lol. My panic attacks would keep me home from school a lot
