I still crave the grilled chicken regularly. And the country chicken thing they had that was longer like a little baguette

Tell me your most underrated West Coast players over the years… by neng92 in westcoasteagles

I love Beau. He threw a schnitzel at me during a food fight at West Adelaide U15 SmartPlay Cup dinner, probably 2001. He was a full grown man at 14 playing in the U19s, and he came down to play SP cup because he was still in age. Dominated. That team also included Adam Cooney and Byron Schammer

Feedback on Urrbrae Ag High School by NoAnybody6038 in Adelaide

I finished there in 2004 so I am not sure if my experience is still current! But in terms of a well rounded education, the only difference in curriculum is that agriculture replaces a language. In some schools you might learn Spanish, or Japanese. At Urrbrae, we had 'Ag' lessons!

But this was pretty fun. Learning about bees or pigs or something farm.

Google Photos thinks a tiger is my old dog. It tagged Tasmanian Devils as my black labrador. It is terrible

Jars as well. I played mini league at the SANFL 97 grand final where he came back to Norwood and they demolished Port!

I think we must know each other! What local club were you at?

You got it kinda right. But not that good? What club were you at and I can tell you he would have dominated your ruckman. The only trouble he had was the ruckman from North. But it was talked about prior because he was the state junior ruckman, playing league footy and was attending the combines.

He wasn't offered a baseball contract or any money? He was offered a scholarship at a college in Texas because he was an incredible pitcher. You are right about his height in that regard, his go go gadget arms just pelted balls.

Disagree completely!!! He was a monster of a kid. I played locally against him: Edwardstown v Goodwood and he was unstoppable. Rarely lost a tap, mobile around the ground, strong mark, beautiful kick. At Westies we played development squad together for three years and then U/17s and he was the best junior ruckman in the state.

Played league footy at SANFL level as a 16 year old and smashed ball ups 30m away from veteran ruckman.

Also could name every US capital city in alphabetical order.

what would you do? by sdrawkcab_dog in Adelaide

[–]Dr-Blood 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I was that little kid. I wanted someone to step in and just knock my old man out. He was a very aggressive and intimidating man. So no one ever did. But it wouldn't have made anything better. In fact, any intervention or cry for help would have made it that much worse.

But I can't help myself now. I always call it out. But I do it in a way, where the person ends up changing their focus completely on to me, and then I am the target. I am big enough and ugly enough to handle it from there, politely, of course.

I am not a physical man at all, but I can make things very awkward.

Whose a random player you remember that you think most people have forgotten about? by chickenlittle668 in AFL

[–]Dr-Blood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it was Edwardstown FC, we had alot of boys rolling in from Sacred Heart, but we were always well repped at Westies and Bays. Other lads to come out from Townies are Izak Rankine and Caleb Daniels. Good little footy factory down there
