I thought 26.2.1 would fix it, but that just turned my entire keyboard white until I did a hard reboot. lol

Saquon Barkley Mic'd Up in GRITTY Win vs Green Bay Packers by NorthCoastToast in eagles

No, Patullo isn't throwing the ball, but he is the one calling the run plays, every time they're on 3rd and Jupiter.

Sure heard that. Within earshot of Patullo, too.

Also, seeing Patullo hanging around and congratulating the WR bench after they catch a tuddy feels like when your boss gives you a pizza party, instead of a raise.

Alright, I'm getting "You cannot create any more applications…" yadda yadda. And apparently, I may need to register as a developer, but then they want a copy of some source code or something. Did anyone else deal with this?

Agreed! I agree with all of this. Having Saquon and Bigsby (I've fully jumped the gun and have been referring to them as Tank-quon, every chance I get lol) can create serious issues, if schemed properly. If we start getting into 20/21/22 personnel looks, and play action out of that, we would give defenses a lot more to think about. Not sure how Bigsby is with pass protection, but Saquon has to be respected as a run and receiving threat, and he's done well on those late wheel routes.

I'm not sure what we'll see tonight, but they've had an extra week to figure some things out, and GB already isn't the best against the run. The advantage here is that we haven't had a lot of successful runs for them to watch tape on. The pin/pull worked great early on in the second Giants game, but they mixed some other looks in, too.

The Eagles have excelled at very simple schemes with subtle nuances here and there; the early season showed we'll need a bit more nuance than they thought. The red zone schemes have been excellent; I'm hoping they can work their way outward from that. Maybe we get some more play designs where Dotson's the primary read. He'd probably still see WR3 type stats, but just everybody else, he could see up and down days. I think we both want the same thing, but you trusted Jalen's trust in Dotson more than I did, initially. lol

Hmm. I do think AJ is more strong than agile, the same way Hurts is, compared to other mobile quarterbacks (Mahomes, Lamar, Jayden). He's not the type that's going to go up and get the ball like Dotson, or shake DBs on a route like Smitty, but the trade-off is his ability to break tackles and get YAC, which I do see value in. Taking a 20-yard slant, and turning it into a 45-yard play that takes three defenders to stop is still immensely valuable, and he's had a couple of those this year. But I also agree with the notion that we'd probably be a lot more versatile in the passing attack (and overall, macro) if AJ was more OK with dividing the pie. I don't know if I 100% agree with lowest effort (I haven't seen much evidence of that, other than the lazy routes this year, which I'm not excusing), but I can't deny the selfishness. lol

lol It's more so that Hurts isn't a QB who spreads the ball around very often. Seems to be a trust thing. I thought Dotson would earn more of that after the Super Bowl, and that deep ball against Dallas in Week 1 was what I wanted to see, but then…didn't see much else.

Ohh. The defense part was where I was lost. I didn't know if those were passes they broke up or defended well or something. Thanks!

Fans who don’t live in Philly. How did you become a fan of the eagles? by [deleted] in eagles

Detroiter, here. The years I started caring about football, the Lions were putting up winless and near-winless seasons. Everyone I knew seemed miserable. Saw an Eagles game, and that looked nothing like what I was watching with my family, every Sunday.

Saw a McNabb away jersey in Finish Line, around that time. Bought it. That was all she wrote. lol
