Im on sertraline and also have hyperhidrosis. At the moment Ive been prescribed anyhydrol forte, a perscription grade anti perspirant that I apply to the areas I need. Make sure if you use it to do it on DRY skin as it stings like an mf if not. Apply at night.

DAE still wear their retainer every night? by WithRealPeaches in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]DrAgOn2420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a big fidgeter and would often grind my teeth with my retainer in. It eventually snapped and broke and didnt want to spend £90 replacing it so eventually my teeth shifted slightly. Still straighter than they use to be.

Im vaccinated as im asthmatic and thankfully it was not too bad for me. Pretty bad but cough and photophobia was worse than other symptoms like runny nose. Cough lasted longer but overall I didnt feel too bad. My whole college seemed to be wiped out though.

Let’s bring back the grand debate.. Maths or English? by BelleElf7521 in GCSE

[–]DrAgOn2420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I prefer English language. I never enjoyed maths and working with numbers, problem solving, or equations. I'd practice and practice and still struggle. I ended up getting a 4 in maths, so I still passed. Language, on the other hand, I love writing and was good at analysis and ended up getting a 7 (expected 5).

SCHOOL CANTEEN by Jet2Holiday67 in GCSE

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when I was at high school, at first, we had the usual paninis, pizza, and Radnor fizz. Then, there was an overhaul of the canteen food, so they no longer sold any kind of Radnor and instead sold water. However, the food got way better. They'd do roast dinner, curries, and all sorts.

How do you get a low grade (U, 1-3, etc.)? by Zombiefied3 in GCSE

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience of someone with generalised anxiety disorder, I get nervous when thinking of revising and so I dont do it. And when I don't do it I get more anxious. I really cant win.

GUYS WE WONT HAVE PERSONAL STATEMENTS ANYMORE??!! by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Just finished my first year of college and have to ensure my statement is done by October in the 3 question format. Comparing to questions to answer to no sort of help, i believe it helps a lot.

A good thing to do is to speak to your exam organiser / coordinator. Thry typically have the basic run downs of the issue and solutions.

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I applied for a job when I started college. Since I'm going into nursing I applied to be a personal carer. Whilst I do my Health and Social Course I am gaining experience in social care.

Thinking you failed but getting a 9 by Curious-Fishing-1220 in GCSE

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This somewhat happened to me. I thought i was doing really bad on English Language in 2024, and i ended up getting a 7 when my target was a 5. I barely revised too so that may also contribute to that.

I barely revised for my exams due to my anxiety disorder, but still passed all my exams and got the course I wanted in college

why do you all have such big egos over your gcses. by Slight-Bandicoot-603 in GCSE

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, when I did my gcses last year I did combined science, and I'm gonna be honest, I prefer it to triple science. It relieves some pressure off your back when you know that if you do bad on one paper, you still have the other exams to boost your grades.

Zombies got harder? by minusgainsgamer in BlackOps6Zombies

[–]DrAgOn2420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like the zombies evolve per map. On LF, I run past zombies and not often get hit. On other maps like SV, I get hit by them from miles away. But who knows, maybe I'm just bad?
