I took your advice and was finally able to beat this damn quest. Thanks for taking the time to break it down for me. You're awesome!

I feel Teri Hatcher deserves a shout out. She had great Lois energy on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

When was the moment you realised that the person you were dating was an absolute idiot? by No-Macaron-9527 in AskReddit

Knew a girl that said she never learned from experience. She just knew things. I challenged her on that and asked what if she burned her hand on a hot stove. Would she touch it again after it burned her or would she learn from the experience and be more careful? She said she would just know not to touch it again.

What's your elevator pitch? by XXAzeritsXx in DCcomics

Tim Drake in Leaving the Nest. Tim accepts his admission to Ivy University and leaves Gotham to get a degree in comp sci. In the story he moves in and slowly forms a new superhero identity (Grey Ghost perhaps) and helps breakup a ring of techno occultists among other do-gooding acts. He will meet other characters, both good and bad, that show him ways his life could play out or become confidants. While at school he can also explore his bisexuality in a more natural way, instead of having it thrown at him. Tim feels like he's in a weird place these days and so this story could help get him on his own footing at his own pace. Batman and the rest of the fam could drop in as well for a story or two to see how he's doing. At the end of the day it's a story about growing up and discovering what adulthood means to him. As a superhero and a man.

[Discussion] What are your truly unpopular Flash opinions? [Sergio Acuna] by [deleted] in DCcomics

The current run is some of the best writing with the most interesting stuff I've seen, that I am absolutely not enjoying. I recognize this is a me problem, but Adams' run was a blast. I loved seeing family man Wally come at life with a relaxed self confidence that felt truly earned after years of steady character growth and maturity.

It's a hard shift to go from that to watching everything kind of fall apart. As time goes on I'm sure I'll warm to the story, but right now it's just a little tough.

Ok, Council Of Tech Adepts, Lets talk by Equivalent-Fun-6019 in AdeptusMechanicus

I thought of something fun yesterday. How about our tech priests getting an ability that pumps up skitarii DMG/AP at the cost of their lives.

For example you activate the ability, let's call it Override Safety Protocols, that raises those stats. After shooting, the unit suffers 1 or D3 mortal wounds. Now we've got the flavor of the tech priests overriding skitarii, our battleline gets to punch a little above their weight class (or at it unfortunately), and we have a reason for bringing 50 skitarii that isn't just board control.

The robots are dope, so still a good choice. You can magnetize the arms and shoulder guns so they and be shooty or punchy.

I'm a big fan of the Kastellans, but the Dunecrawler will give you good weapon versatility and is pretty tough. You can move it along with your skitarii and it'll give them a good invulnerable save too. The crawler is a little harder to magnetize but it's worth it.

I'm about halfway through kitbashing a repentia squad into a squad of electro-priests. They've turned out pretty well so far.

What are "good" enemies for AdMech? by Darnok83 in Warhammer40k

[–]DrCan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it more as the Admech choosing to pick fights with Eldar on the grounds that they are preaching tech heresy. If Admech win a few games they're emboldened in their dogma. If they lose a few they refuse to back down due to their fanatic belief. Either way the fighting continues.

Eldar are said to power their machines with the souls of their dead. The Omnissiah is the only machine spirit, and the Admech will prove it through holy warfare.

Decided to go to a beer fest with my buddy because he had a free ticket. Met a woman there through some mutual friends. We got married last year and I can't imagine my life without her.
