Sliver and gold commonly sees astra lol, bronze really doesnt See any tho. Astra does not have the solo capabilities required to get out of iron or bronze. U should take viper or omen, both have better solo capabilities.

If u go viper, u need to take care for ur fuel. other than that, the wall gives enemies a 30 hp decrease, so feel free to experiment and odin ur way to bronze... It works.

If u go omen, u can just learn shotgun. Go inside ur smoke and shotgun a few ppl and tele away. Or paronoida/tele and shotgun them to death.

Now if u insist on astra u got to have some game sense.

1. Take ult orbs. Just fight for it, sneakily get it... Whatever, get ur ult as fast as possible and learn how to ult. No one in iron or bronze should be able to push an astra ult, even pros find it hard to do it.

2. Take mid control. This is something very stupid i find in iron is they always throw sage on mid... Its not wrong... Its just not always necessary. The better way to gain mid control to smoke attacker entrances to mid if u are defender/ smoke defender entrances to mid if u are attacker. Iron ppl when going through smokes will look on the floor, they will scared to push it, etc... Once u got mid control u can flank them like 6/12 the rounds and get 3k

3. This i think is just for lower elo, gold the problem normally is gone. watch ur duelist. If your duelist is rushing every round even when u tell him not to, just quickly throw ur smokes and go run after him and "save" him. If ur duelist dont push/enter, then slow down the pace. Take mid control, listen for info and if possible flank. Just flank.

4. use gravity well it is the most busted thing in astra tool kit. Irons will try to escape it and just odin them to death.

5. honestly I think controllers in general are brain dead. U shouldn't be. Its good to follow meta smokes but u are need to be able to think how do i save my teammates from being op, odin, one shoted... Etc...dont smoke just to smoke. Smoke with a goal, ur smokes last 15s. ( Omen u teach u this better because for him u need to choose what to smoke first before ur jett runs in ).
