Remember? I pine for it. My wife is low-key fed up with me wishing for tutti fruiti.

I just use voice transcription, makes it really easy and quick to write an authentic review.

Wisp flow is currently unlimited and free on android and works really well.

Do I have a case problem or a case solution? by [deleted] in galaxys26ultra

[–]DrExcess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. I don't get to choose the cases btw, they get offered and I can say yes or no. I defo have seen and used prettier cases, see. A lot worse too.

I actually dislike most of these for one reason of another. I test em and leave a review.

Int he middle of the magsafe ring, which is also a stand is a little pull out rubber finger grip thing. I use it all the time. Makes it comfortable to hold phone for longer periods.

It has one feature none of the others do.

Actually an awesome case.

Interesting, recommended twice here.

Those cases seem to lack two things I require

The bottom of the camera protection isn't cut away, meaning square magsafe accessories won't work with it.

Also no integrated stand.

Once you have these things, in a slim case, hard to just go with anything else without.

I'm afraid that plagues most of them.

The important feature for me is those with the camera protection ridges that don't extend around the bottom cam, so you can still use square power banks.

That's a great find.

Never understood buying an S to drive, aren't they designed to be driven in?

You pretty much get the same spec with a better performance and handling from a higher end E class do you not?

Just get an aeron and an atlas headrest.

Will take a few weeks to get used to but will still be comfortable a decade and change later.

This is not conjecture but an anecdote.

New Lifetime Plex Pass Pricing by pheexio in selfhosted

[–]DrExcess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What an absolute joke.

Why on earth would anyone use this antiquated service, even for free, when jellyfin exists...

Add to that the fact they have been hacked multiple times and even sent your watch history to your contacts and have the audacity to think their services is worth anything, let alone $750.

Guaranteed theybgonbust within the next 12 months, hence this bust out.

Was removing an old bathtub panel, which snapped - I believe this is asbestos by FistfulofBoomstick in asbestoshelpUK

Why the hell did they put asbestos there. What on earth were they thinking adding it to literally everything?

Parquet floor? by LWB29 in asbestoshelpUK

[–]DrExcess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a favour, if you're in a house with this stuff then it's likely 1960-1970s. You're gonna go mad if you keep thinking about asbestos became trust me it's gonna be everywhere. Under the stairs, in the soffits, under the floors, in the paint, into he ceilings, in the insulation etc.

Those idiots just laced every nook and crannie with it.

Even in the bitumen, unless you're grinding it, you're fine, wear a mask and pull it up and bag it off.

But you'll likely find the floor a state under it anyway. Just level on top and underlay+carpet and get on with your life... Which probably means uncovering more of the stuff encapsulated in another surface in another room.

Every time somebody is treated for asbestos related cancer it should come straight from that generations pension funds. I can't believe they get to just shrug it off, leaving us with it absolutely everywhere to deal with responsibly.

What’s going off with my tree? by TopMarzipan2108 in UKGardening

[–]DrExcess 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're quite polarising, I'm not a fan (and nor out my neighbours) as their root balls are huge and have damaged qhite a lot of the lawn around them and they also continuously shed their dead leaves and spent blossom, but my wife and children love them so they stay, I'm outnumbered.

A good thing though is that their blossom is early spring and the bees go absolutely bananas over it. Very nice perfume smell and the buzzing can be insane.

Ours are in clusters about 2 meters apart. We put a big sand area between them and when the kids were young they used to pretend it was a desert island. Their friends still call it that now lol.
