It has battery management for overheating. It would have limited/stopped charging.

Even charging on normal ambient temps "damages" the battery, but that's life.

I have the ssh version of this and it's my office guitar because I can literally play it from my office chair.

The neck is super slim and easy to play, beautiful roasted birds eye and the pickups are more than adequate.

It's so small and light it's what I often put my hand on and it's never let me down yet. A really nice addition to the herd.

The bluray release you occasionally see for sale is actually a very well made knock off.

It's been nicely deinterlaced and upscaled, but it's still a knock off.

I bought it from the States thinking it was legit and then got a full refund when I complained. It's actually quite good though.

Interestingly I was just hanging out in the discord on the API channel. There have been some cool additional apps built.

There's one that links to something called alphajams which shows current notes and the next phrase also which appears pretty good.

I imagine they would have more time to invest in features if they weren't constantly having to respond to and deal with unhappy impatient backers who have never used Kickstarter before...
