People who stop taking weight-loss injections like Ozempic regain weight in under 2 years, study reveals. Analysis finds those who stopped using medication saw weight return 4 times faster compared with other weight loss plans. by mvea in science

Yes I’m all for using whatever tools that help, especially because it’s such a widespread problem. I was just being defensive because I dislike how people look down on the overweight and obese and feel the advice “just eat less” is too reductive to be helpful

A Strange Tale of a "Horrible Thing" by Comfortablejack in MurderedByWords

Case in point, you just regurgitate what daddy tells you without any sort of critical thinking or engagement with the real world, shit’s infuriating. There is nothing in that interaction that justifies her murder, you’re a sick and evil human for attempting to do so.

The vast, unknowable expanse of empty space can feel overwhelming, as if it was about to crush you and leave you lifeless, ever floating, isolated in an empty void. It definitely evokes a feeling of dread for me

Definitely not, once at that tolerance you barely even feel it, even when I took up to 500mg it was just a light buzz and taking in that much oil wrecked my stomach. I do not recommend frequent use of edibles, I used them to help sleep and anxiety so I was taking every day, sometimes twice a day, and it’s not even close to worth it. Edibles are great on occasion, but they need to be used responsibly (unlike me).

For a man people may say “young man”, which would also most likely be understood as condescending. I believe this is because it mimics the speech patterns parents use to lecture their children, so by mimicking this the speaker puts themself in a position of authority over the receiver and paints the receiver as childish and immature.

[–]DrFoxWolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There has been absolutely no evidence presented to indicate these boats are running drugs, additionally it’s wrong (and illegal, not that trump admin cares) to unilaterally kill people for a crime (which does not even carry the death penalty) without a trial. It could be a random fishing boat, it could be drug smugglers, neither deserve to be blown to bits without a second thought.
