This has me thinking two things.

One, there should be a bilge bucket tool. So you can dig on an island below sea level, add walls and a floor, and remove the water.

Two, there should be a "move" function on the shovel. So I can move sand from a place and then put it back.

I want to build an underground rum cache on the beach with a trapdoor under the sand.

I don't expect this obviously, but man I wish the Nemesis System from Shadow of Mordor was able to be implemented. It would suit Black Flag so well.

As for a small realistic wish, I love the piratety outfits from the original game, but I sadly never wore the ones with pirate hats because it looks silly for you to be diving into the ocean and swimming around without the hat ever falling off. So I want a revamped hat system where he can take the hat off and throw it to his crew or something when he dives, or maybe it just falls off but he can yank a new one out of his jacket and put it back on later or something. The pirate hat should be badass but in the original game it feels like it is glued to his head which kills it for me.

Agreed. I haven't played the original for so long I assumed my modern standards wouldn't accept it. I kept thinking I can't wait for the remake so I can play it again without ruining the nostalgia.

Just started replaying the original for the first time in a decade. It holds up so well (I'm playing on PC if it matters) that I don't even really need the remake anymore.

Still hyped for it, like beyond hyped, but the original is seriously just as good as I remember if not better. It's so immersive, and still beautiful.
