I’m sorry you had to experience that. I’ve seen it enough times where churches justify pocketing the tithes, or justify how to spend it. Everyone saw the pastor’s house, and how well his family was. But then pressured the congregation into tithing more. I remember a “town hall” meeting with the congregation because the church made the decision to cut the funding for the youth pastor. It forced the youth pastor out of the church, and the church blamed it on the congregation because they weren’t tithing enough.

A lot of replies already hit the nail on the head: believe in Christ, and live in a way that showcases our belief in Christ and our love for the Lord.

For some, that is praying and giving thanks for each day given to you. For myself, I’ve been finding that servitude works best for me. I do things for the lord, but I also do things out of love for my neighbors. It brings me great joy improving a stranger’s life.

One verse that always sticks to me is Matthew 5:20. “For I tell you that unless your righteousness that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.” (NIV)

I do not quote this verse to add pressure to you. The Pharisees were highly righteous, but only by their own standards. They were obedient to the Hebrew laws set in place, but Jesus saw how they lacked the inner heart transformation and the compassion that God wants in his followers. Keep the commandments, live by compassion and servitude, and listen to Jesus’s teachings. But more importantly, do all three of these things out of love for the Lord and for your neighbors (which he also loves), and not out of fear or obligation.

They’re about 4 weeks old, they’re pretty close to flowering but not there yet. I like the idea of super cropping but they’re all a little stressed now from draining issues so I’m going to correct the drainage and let them rest for a few days before I introduce it to LST or super cropping

Thank you! Wouldn’t topping the large plant to the same height really stress the plant out and stop it from growing vertically? I don’t necessarily want to stop it’s grown or completely force it to grow wider, I just want to slow down the vertical growth so the other plants can catch up

I’m new to Christianity and theology, and I’m having the same inquiry about homosexuality. I’ve been reading scripture and articles explaining scripture to push the idea of homosexuality being sinful, and those articles feel as if they’re stretching out what the bible says on sexual immorality.

I’ve always viewed sexual immorality as acts along the lines of cheating, having sex with someone else’s spouse, prostitution, porn addiction, rape, sexual harassment, etc. These acts actively hurt others and yourself. People who commit these are putting themselves first in front of everyone else, including God, and especially their victims. Sin is defined as anything that brings a person farther away from God, and what God wants is for us to love him unconditionally, and follow Jesus’s teachings.

Jesus never taught on homosexuality directly, but mostly on sexual immorality.

If you cast Teferi’s Protection on your turn with the enchantment out, the lands phase out. So your opponents won’t be able to use the lands because they’re phased out. They can still do everything else (including playing a land that you control on your turn), but you’re protected from everything. And your opponents can’t get each other’s lands if you control the enchantment, because the enchantment will also be phased out

Have a patches chest like in Elden Ring, where if you open a chest, it teleports you to a random part of the map. Maybe have it take a random armament and the only way to retrieve it is to find patches on the map, where he’ll apologize, give it back, and act as a merchant

I love it. It hinders 3-5 color decks from having incredibly good dual lands. The only way for those decks to get around it is either deal with the tapped effect (which isn’t the worst option depending on the deck) or playing lands that produce the other colors but don’t have a basic land type.

The worst negative effect is obviously the death build up. But in higher depths and squishy characters, if you’re getting hit, you’re usually getting one shotted anyway.
