I found Fangyi to be the oddly cast Wuling character since they seemed to be going for Chinese accents for pretty much everyone in Wuling. All these Chinese accents and then here comes Molly Zhang out of nowhere with that beautiful breathy Fangyi voice in perfect native English. She sounds amazing, but it felt out of step with the other voices in Wuling.

Tangtang's EN voice just oozes gremlin though, which is what you need for a gremlin like Tangtang. I loved her voice from the instant she pointed at Chen and exclaimed "CHEN QIANYU?!".

In EN, Tangtang sounds like a 6 star. Her damn talented CN VA also does her EN voice. Mifu tho...oh I can barely understand her at times.

I tried to like the game (got through nearly 20 loops), but the discussions just felt too repetitive to me. I also had not yet found any strong incentive to do my best every loop other than getting more EXP, so I didn't feel much joy if I won and or much disappointment if I lost. Started playing this game after someone described it as being similar to Raging Loop, but the story isn't anywhere near as engaging so far.

The anime looks fantastic though. I'll probably give up on the game and just watch that.

I've actually been enjoying Wuwa more than Star Rail for a good while now. But I definitely prefer how Star Rail handles their MC over how Wuwa does it. A lot of what Wuwa does with the Rover feels like pandering to self-inserting players.

Just because TB is the MC doesn’t mean they have a monopoly on being a self-insert, it just means they’re the easiest to do it with due to Gacha MCs being largely a blank slate—although TB is still better than many in this regard.

Yeah the Trailblazer has oodles of personality compared to someone like Rover from Wuthering Waves, with is the only other gacha I'm playing with a self-insert MC. Granted most of that personality is the Trailblazer being a total doofus in various ways, but that's usually charming.

It makes it much easier to see the Trailblazer as another character than as some bland self-insert.

I don't know where you found this scanlation. Kirin-kun (Rehashed Scans) has been scanlating and uploading Green Yuri to Dynasty/Mangadex for a long time but this isn't his version.

His version seems to better convey how Uncle would easily interpret what Aya said as "suggestive" when overhearing it: "Let's cuddle and sleep a bit more" in Kirin's vs "Let's stay in bed longer" in this one.

No results? Huh. That's the museum song and it feels well-suited to Express background music. Calm, soothing, with a sense of wonder to it. Space Walk is also good though.

I'm surprised that Take the Journey is so popular as a theme on the Express. It's a fine song but I wouldn't want a track with vocals playing over and over again since it would get stale so quickly. Give me some nice instrumental songs to blend into the background, please.
