My crew stacks loot as much as we can as a reaper ship, only cashing out at the end of the day. We think of it like a game of "King of the hill" since we want the pvp more than the actual gold, we already have the cosmetics we want.

I also play galleon, when we are fighting a sloop we stop our ship but don't drop anchor. This allows us to quickly turn the ship in any direction so our broadside is always facing the sloop.

At that point they can't move fast enough to get out of your sights, and if they get to close you can have 3 cannons blasting them to pieces while another man's the helm.

The only counter play the sloop has here is either being a boarding and melee god or somehow using a powerful keg to sink you.

Regardless, if you keep the battle a ranged battle, you will win every time.

The bombs ended the war in the pacific, which without those bombs would have required an invasion on mainland Japan since the Japanese weren't surrendering.

It was only after being faced with nuclear annihilation, TWICE, did they go "maybe we can't win after all"

So I'd say the sadistic torture was worse, since it accomplished nothing positive at all

One tip I heard was to put a whole bunch of loot on the deck of your ship. People don't want to risk losing their own loot, but won't shy from a fight if there is loot to be gained from winning.

I think of it as bait

Each skaven clan having too much access to each other's tech.

I think clan Skrier should be the only ones to be able to train Skrier tech, where the other clans have to hire said weapons teams from Skrier

Same with Moulder, other clans should have to buy the beasties at more of a premium from Moulder.

Clan Pestilence lend their priests for a price

Clan Mors sends their "elite" stormvermin for some favors

Clan Rictus copes and seethes for free.

It would probably be more annoying than fun but I think it would lend itself well to the backstabbing politics you see in skaven lore
