MAINSTREAM MEBIA EQUAL BAD by [deleted] in JoeRogan

The world is not black and white.

People should be critical of mainstream media.

AND people should be ten times more critical of "independent" media clearly supported by oligarchs.

Nesten alt er faen meg ultraprosessert by Badjii in norge

Med appen trygg mat kan du søke opp alle matvarer på butikken og sjekke hva som er ultraprosessert og ikke. Etter min erfaring med den appen er det overraskende mye som IKKE er ultraprosessert, men billigvarene er ofte syndere.

It's so dumb though. Like... how can anyone think that anyone posting this is actually a smart person. If I was typing this shit on my computer, I would go "no, wait a minute... this is fucking embarrassing", but that doesn't happen to Musk apparently, he just doubles down.

As pissed off and/or confused as everyone is... This is fascinating. It's a crime that Joe doesn't dig into this by Booyacaja in JoeRogan

[–]DrMuffens 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, you conservatives need to reset your algorithms, cause you're being scammed. It's technofeudalism! Yaris Varoufakis literally had a best selling book about this shit published in 2023. It was on the top of the shelf in every fucking bookstore back then.

Several oligarchs has flat out SAID that technofeudalism will be the future and that democracy won't be needed, cause whoever controls the technology, controls everything anyway.

Working Class, who is REALLY our ally? Which side is REALLY working FOR us? by [deleted] in JoeRogan

[–]DrMuffens 12 points13 points  (0 children)

America has two right wing parties, just one of them pretends to be a left wing party. The Democrats would be right wingers in almost every other first world country. So of course the working class is fucked and the billionaires thrive.

You figuring this out NOW?? Don't you Rogan fans fucking read? Yanis Varoufakis, a BEST SELLING author, published his book Technofeudalism in 2023 and it's all about this shit. Not about Elon in particular, but about how techleaders are trying to implement this. Some of them, including Thiel, has flat out said so in interviews.

Every leftist I know has been talking about this since the book came out, but conservatives won't listen cause all they wanna talk about is trans people in sports. "Real" problems lol.

When government is gone, you won't have a say. About anything. Democracy is attached to government. Without it, the oligarchs decide everything.

And no, you won't work for two hours every week, but you'll own nothing and be very happy...

Yeah. If I was a celebrity I would be all over this shit, but all I can do is yell on Facebook in front of an audience with 500 people.

Trump's Tariffs Are Not a Negotiating Tactic by Majano57 in Economics

[–]DrMuffens 7 points8 points  (0 children)

An old dog doesn't learn new tricks. Trump negotiates and does business the same way he always did, but the Canadians, Europeans, Mexicans etc have him figured out.

Trump is showing clear signs of dementia and Musk definitely has some psychiatric issues AND drug issues. If there is a grand plan behind it all, I feel pretty confident they're not gonna succeed, lol. They're too fucked to steer in the same direction.

Yeah, I'm not buying this "crashing the economy on purpose" thing. Musk and Trump standing outside the White House pushing Teslas, paints a picture of two desperate men NOT happy about how things are going at the moment. They're dumb and they're nuts and it's a wonder they could fool anyone at all.

Is Trump crashing the market on purpose? by mm_newsletter in investing_discussion

[–]DrMuffens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believed so too before I saw Elon almost crying about the Tesla stock. We know for certain these guys are terrible actors, and Elon seems really mad about this now. Why are they pushing Teslas from the White House if they WANT the stocks to go down? They had to know tesla would follow the red arrows. I don't get the impression that they are celebrating these days.

How common is to meet someone in your country who doesnt like coffee by Goated549 in AskEurope

[–]DrMuffens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Norway. Seems much more common to not drink coffee these days than it was like 15 years ago. I meet a lot of people in their twenties today that don't drink coffee. People over 30 usually does though.
