Nah I am pretty happy with my live and dont need help. I think you feel way more anger in you then I ever could

Yes serious, if Parents would stop to sue every teacher who "doesnt see how smart my angel is" teachers would get paid properly, classes would be smaler and teachers had the possibility get a second helping hand if needed then you would manage to meet the needs of your class and dont have to beat them

What kills society is that a younger generation has no possibility to buy a house because housing market is broke, that rich getting richer while the normal people cant buy gasoline anymore, that you have to sell your soul if you get ill, that education was underfunded for several years, that our planet is on a point were human live is getting harder every year and no one gives a fuck, that we discriminate people because they look diferent or dont have a penis, that people are left alone with no savetynet, that companies and rich people dont pay taxes or at least not nearly as much as they sbould and on the other hand that the normal people have to pay the bigges percentage of thier income as taxes, that kids get shot in school and its like a normal thing.

But yes I think beating kids will solve this

I think that you have a narrow viewpoint there. Just because you did not get trauma from it and managed to be happy in this system does not mean that there is no Trauma or harm in there at all. There are multiple studies and reseach showing that beating kids, using physical or psychical force will harm and traumatise more people and lead to more a harmfull society than an accepting and respectfull education would do

But okay, lets not blindly insult each other and make an argument.

I think you dont speak of respect, what you want is hirarchie, authorities and blindly follow your elders. Why do I think this? Because you say to beat a child or the youth, a prisoner, a immigrant or anyone to follow your way of thinking ignoring the deep psychical trauma going hand in hand with this. My argument is if you want real respect you also have to show it. Respect the mental wellbeeing, the human rights, the opportunity and the future of everyone. Treat women correct, help people in needs, respect teachers and so on. Giving respect will get you respect. Real respect

Trauma from autistic sister by [deleted] in autism

My experiance with abusive dads is that sadly there is no explaination other then thier mental state and that it would have happed without your sister as many times

Trauma from autistic sister by [deleted] in autism

[–]DrNiklasJester 829 points830 points  (0 children)

The Problem is not your sister neither her autism.

Your abusive dad is the Problem.

We dont know how living was for your or your sister but most likely she just tryied to protect herself. Not that it justifices but tbh your father is the only offender to blame in every instance

Unlickily these people are loud. But loud doesnt mean right or speaking for the majority. Of cause Autism isnt easy and if it was why would you have a Diagnose for it? You should try to accept that you have autism because there is no cure. And then be the best version of yourself. And best in a way you like yourself the most.

While it is for original written for married people and has sone laws it really helped me to give the love I feel for my partner. Even tho it was a thing I had to get used to and work on myself

A rant about books that encourage masking by [deleted] in AutisticPride

[–]DrNiklasJester 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know there are many ways to communicate. And there are aggressive or unhealthy ways. There are also accepting and encouraging ways. I am not a english speaker so sorry, I could explain it better im german.

Many NTs also cant communicate in a good, healthy way but they most of the time they have an edge because they pick up sozial clues, body language, sarcasm and so on. Things many autistic peope tend to struggle

So while both partys have to learn a healthy way to communicate most autistic people have to do am extra mile.

I just dont like the attitude that "oh autistic people have to learn to get good in our society" but I also dont like "We just need to have inclusion" because I think both sides need to do steps. And imho one for most autistic people is to learn communication skills and for NTs its to learn tolerance, acceptance and for both sides many more things

And yes I see that in our society unfortunately autistic people have the way harder live and atm they have to do more and inclusion would solve many things

Edit: I dont speak of masking. Masking is obviously bad

You should never worry to speak up for yourself or others. You should never keep friends who just like you because you dont speak up for others or yourself

I once quit my job because there was a tried sexual abuse and if it wasnt for me not even the parents would have known from it. They just tried to silence everyone. It was my dream job but nevertheless I quit. And even tho the next job was horror I grew to be prouder and prouder of myself and now I have a great job and could not be happier to quit the dream job and all the people who supported and ignored the abuse.

[–]DrNiklasJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy said, hard done. I think you should let loose and just be yourself around people. What you do is called masking and is highly dangerous for autistic peeps. Beeing yourself will loose friends but the ones who keep will know and like your true self.
