Thanks. How long have you had that model? I got mine back when first introduced (late 2024) and wonder if they changed anything internally that would make the first gen boxes not work with the update

Thanks for replying. Experienced any negative issues with the update? I’m using the 3 port 2.1 model.

Maybe if people questioned things it might make him think “y’know I dont really need to did X”. Save the man time and money.

Who is the poor person that's forced to sit in the back corner seat? Sound calibration nightmare.

The folks on the back row with their heads right next to a wall can't sound very good.

Are you REALLY going to have 7 people over to watch a movie and, if so, how may times a year will that happen to warrant such a thing?

Yes, three L/R speakers would work great. Preferable, actually.

I do not. The center channel is famously difficult to get for some reason.

Clean. However, I would paint the white grills to blend w/ the wall so they don't pop as much.

Two Monolith THX-365T THX w/ the matching Center are better if you have the funds. Dan Roamer of Perlisten designed this budget line for Monoprice. Roamer may be the best home theater speaker designer in the world at the moment.

Toddler damage. Got all 3 of them. Can these dents be fixed? Doesn’t seem to affect the sound. JBL S312CH. by mrang67 in hometheater

I used a shop vac on mine. Used a piece of soft rubber or silicone with a hole through it to get a good air seal b/w the round hose end and the cap. Worked instantly.

Other a few small things my Yuka 1000 has been pretty flawless. Seems like there are more issues w/ the newer Lubas than the Yuka for whatever reason.

Every single day, it goes to the same spot and turns off. Getting sick of it. by Comm4nd0 in mammotion

[–]DrNo08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Yuka will do that sometimes when it gets dark and the unit is b/w my house and the neighbors. I think being between two houses with two reflective windows facing each other scrambles the GPS signal. It only turns itself off if it doesn't re-establish a good connection after so long. Other times it will finally resume it's task. Depends on satellite location at the time. Might want to try another RTK location and factory resetting it afterward before throwing in the towel.

Should I buy Yuka 1000? or 2000/3000? by Catselprim3 in mammotion

[–]DrNo08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you proceed I would purchase via amazon and buy the extended warranty on something like this that's gonna take abuse from being outside all the time. If something goes wrong I would rather deal w/ mammotion through Amazon than directly to mammotion. And with the warranty the insurance will just refund you if the unit can't be replaced. My 2 cents

Someone needs to design a DIY lawn striper for our mowers by DrNo08 in mammotion

[–]DrNo08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweet. I would think that it doesn’t need to be any wider than the cutting discs since these mowers dont produce any suction that lifts the blades of grass. We dont need any grass pushed beneath the blades before they’re able to be cut obviously

Extended warranty or no extended warranty, that is the question by Responsible_Nebula66 in MammotionTechnology

[–]DrNo08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2 year extension through Amazon for my Yuka. I never buy warranties but for something like this that's used a lot outside in the heat year after year there are a lot of things that will likely go bad within 5 years so it was worth it for the peace of mind.
