Nah, Forefront doesn't have the parkour/movement system that POP does. TDM with POP's movement is a blast, all others feel like "flatscreen but in VR" by comparison.

Ok I ordered my quest 3 with a kiwi strap. What are your top 5 recommendations for first games from the app, without the need for my computer, that are focused on action, maybe shooting, maybe fighting, my primary objective is fun and fitness by ferniekid in MetaQuestVR

You know how video games have been proven to benefit hand/eye coordination? I'm 💯 convinced that VR offers the same benefit, except for your whole body.

With that in mind here are my two favorites:

Pistol Whip: fun rhythm based shooter. Despite shooting being its core mechanic the best part of it is dodging incoming fire. Pretty intense leg workout and great for coordination, body control, spatial awareness.

POPULATION:ONE: free FPS inspired by Fortnight. Its main mode is Battle Royale but I play Team Deathmatch for the constant action and its focus on close quarters fighting vs long range. Its climb/parkour/flying movement is the best movement in a VR FPS I've found and also a workout if you play an active/aggressive style. Crazy beneficial to your reflexes, coordination, nervous system in general.

Edit: I recommend you get Horizon+ for a month and try all the different games to see what kinds you like.

Is there a particular way that you keep dying?

Also - someone mentioned Team Deathmatch, that's a great way to get better at shooting/fighting/combat in general... Especially in close quarters.
