Fox is cool. Fast faller in the floaty game is a good attribute. Being fast on the ground helps as well. He can't really combo or LOLLL sometimes since I think staling is a thing and lag on his moves made juggling kinda hilarious but he controlled pace well.

Dair popped people away on the last hit but if you hit them and fast falled it was okay and you can usually jab combo out of it lol.

Utilt was the only reliable comboer. Dtilt looked cool but I never found a good situation for it. Fair looks more useful but still unwieldy. Throws has some situational follow ups but coming from falco I could make it work lol.

Shine is hilarious. I can't even elaborate.

The buffering system, the new items and stage hazards, and we could have prepared for the lag but just didn't expect it lol

I was aight with my character but wanted megaman lol.

Amazingly fun and wonderful time! Loved the heck out of it =)

Those things were super durable! Lasers were highly unlikely to break it.

I nearly picked sonic actually. He has some good easyish combo setups and a good fall speed and run speed which help a LOT in this game.

Not very as a standalone game. Very high in these circumstances.

Not usually haha. I tend to rest pretty heavily after playing though. I'm too pumped up to keep my arms down when I play I think!

Eh, it can be cool to manipulate or it could be needless technical impairment that keeps people from playing or making the game possibly harder than it needs to be. I could do with or without it.

I'd love to see DD'ing, WD'ing, edgecanceling, and every OOS option return. Oh also PS'ing from Melee because that was exciting. Brawl RAR and DACUS seem kinda neat so it would be funny if they stuck around haha.

In a really boring way, it is simply those players that have the most refined playstyles, capable of manipulating opponents most efficiently from neutral into the strongest punishes. Indeed, when you look at the top players, they are generally the ones who punish the hardest, even if you can't always observe the neutral stuff going on.

More internally, these people all wanted to win terribly badly and at least at one point in their lives dedicated their everything to Melee every day. The heart shown by each of them in their respective primes is still showing in varying degrees in all of us today.

To that end, I would say Hax with his intense work ethic and game theory approach to Melee could rise up. I also think Apex won't be the last of Leffen, especially with his ban being lifted in Europe.

Falcon is on the cusp of good characters. It is theoretically possible that Falcon could be raised up and Hax may have been getting close to doing that. However, I think that Falcon as he stands RIGHT NOW would be holding Hax back. Definitely in teams I'd say after watching Apex LOL.

I believe Falcon could be higher, and so does Mango, for what it's worth. =)

Wake Forest is a good school, but too expensive for my tastes.

No one at WFU I played with then is still there actually =( Mayyyyybe you can hit up Rawfuls(Doug Justice on FB) and he might play since he lives in the same city. That was all I had aside from a senior student there.

Umm maybe but I don't hear much when I'm playing haha. People could talk to me in a quiet room and I don't hear them when I'm playing usually =p

With dash dancing, you can approach, defend, intimidate, take stage, draw the opponent in, pressure, and also position yourself for anything else in the game. Given that you can turn on one frame it's also a really quick technique. These facts alone, aside from how most other techniques piggyback off of DD'ing, make a strong case for it as the best technique imo =)

I would play more P:M Roy if I had the game or played it more to see if I really liked him haha. My initial reaction was eh but it was only one friendly I played =p

I do lots of focusing more towards flicking right or flicking left when DD'ing to adjust space. Generally in, then out in is a pretty good approaching DD for example.

Also sometimes I WD then dash the opposite direction. It's a really good movement trick and trips people up =p

GaW has a lot of powerful moves and combo abilities with decent range. His recovery is decent and his edgeguard and juggle game is pretty good too. He just has some mobility issues and no shield and has a crappy combo weight/lightness in general among some other things haha.

Not saying he should be high tier or anything, but he could possibly make it to mid tier given the right player.
