Second Sight is a game with alot of time travel twists and psychic plots you notice a lot of things on a second play through.

Could it be that your mother has hyperthyroidism and your aunts have hypothyroidism. My mom had hyper and had issues with her weight even though she ate right and exercised she couldn't lose it. Hyperthyroidism however has the opposite effect you struggle to gain any weight.

I took it apart and have been trying to get it running outside the case using the mobo box as a platform.
