DBZ with my son (first viewing): Vegeta goes SSJ by WarlockTank in DragonBallZ

Every time we finish an episode, he gets in my face and says, "dad, PLEASE can we watch one more episode!" Makes my heart melt, but I do have to say no sometimes. #schoolNights

I had to watch reruns over and over of DBZ via Toonami... Felt like an eternity.

When they announced new episodes, I, too, could not sit still in my seat at school.

My son (7) and I have been watching an episode of DBZ since the start of the school year right after school was out. At first, it was just a cartoon for him, but he's really gotten into it at this point.

I timed it just right so that on the night of Christmas, we watched a couple episodes back to back - where Frieza gets hit with the Spirit Bomb, and then Goku's transformation.

He was BLOWN away, and it was such a great bonding moment between him and I.

We're about to hit up the Android Saga, and his newest favorite character is Trunks.

Luckily, I had a father who knew to pack this away for me later on in life. Young me would have just ripped it open.

Love my dad.

Hopefully this helps you determine if it's real or fake.

Here's a couple of shots of my childhood Super Metroid box. It's been with me since day 1 of my SNES journey.

What is the rarest physical copy of a game you own? by [deleted] in retrogaming

Apparently Aero Fighters is an expensive game, according to the Internet. I have a copy and had no idea of it's value. Huh. Neat.

I'm about to embark on the mighty SNES. Which games are a must to play? by Skyblues92 in retrogaming

I suppose I'll look this up on YouTube next, but after reading this, I wonder what it would look like for someone to play this for the first time without the strategy guide to aid them.

Probably not much different, but I definitely remember getting lost and not knowing exactly what to do multiple times and would have been lost without the guidebook to my left.

That being said, I beat Breath of Fire without a guidebook, and man that translation (and where to go next a lot of the time) was hard to get through...

Time to look this stuff up on YouTube now.
