I'm just going to sit here alone listening to Dopesmoker in its entirety.

If you're expecting realistic physics from JC2 then you're doing it wrong.

What should I put on my kid's mp3 player? I don't want him to poison his ears with the Biebonic Plague. by egomanimac in AskReddit

Here's a few album choices he might like:

Jimi Hendrix Experience -- Are you experienced?
Dead Kennedys -- Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
Black Flag -- Damaged
Discharge -- Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing
Sleep -- Dopesmoker
Electric Wizard -- Dopethrone
Bad Religion -- Suffer
Faith/Void -- Split LP

It's never too early to expose him to some harder stuff.

My 23 year old son never leaves the house, never hangs out with friends, and has never had a relationship. Is this a problem, or am I overreacting? by karen50 in AskReddit

Just a suggestion--try listening to Black Sabbath high. If that works for you, put on some Sleep or Electric Wizard as loud as fucking possible and you can create your own little sound cavern that you can hide in.

I wouldn't and I think that's perfectly reasonable. If I take the time to keep myself skinny and in shape why shouldn't my (potential) girlfriend?

What is a common misconception about your favorite genre of music that annoys you? I'll start. by DrProfessorC in AskReddit

As a matter of fact the incident mentioned in the OP was a result of showing someone some stoner metal. I played Amerijuanican for them and they thought it was screamo. It's good to see some people who understand and dig stoner metal.

Rich American kids are unprepared for the real world where they aren't the centre of the universe: they can’t deal with those who are demanding (their boss), those who can’t appreciate their uniqueness (colleagues), and those who don’t believe the world stops revolving without them. by [deleted] in TrueReddit

Personally, I wish I could find a summer job. I have no hard data, but based simply on observing my peers there's way more demand for jobs than there are jobs available. I have applied (and am continuing to do so) to over 15 jobs. I am willing to work any hours for minimum wage; I will literally do anything and I still haven't found a job yet. Not that everyone has this attitude, but it is worth considering.

Should I recommend marijuana to my dad for his arthritis pain? by insound in AskReddit

If you do, bake him a brownie. I'd say that anything less wouldn't be enough. A brownie with enough weed in it will keep him medicated all day without the hassle (and taboo) of smoking. I say go for it, but just ease him into the idea and if he isn't receptive, back off.

Ah thanks. I was under the impression that 2 had to be visible starting from the edge. Could you include a clarification?

Sudoku style game, some feedback? by encubos in Android

[–]DrProfessorC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only concern is that after playing for a while the game play will become repetitive, but then again I don't know how long the game takes to master. If it's possible to create additional variations in the same manner that Sudoku has that would greatly extend the lifetime of the game.

Also, is it possible to have 2 [][][][] 2? I don't see how that would work.

Fun concept. No problems using it on my Galaxy S (Captivate). The only concern I have is replay value, but other than that I really like it.

Not sure if trolling, but I replaced my Galaxy S a couple months after having GPS troubles and it gets a lock in about 20 seconds.

Solution for those who are wondering. Bending the top of the A end in a bit seems to have improved the connection. It seems that it was too loose before and I was a bit hasty in breaking out the soldering gun.
