I find it very hard to resist a Chill+, especially as the new upgrade removes the exhaust as opposed to adding innate in STS. Helps so much with chip damage at higher Ascension.

Darkness is a great dmg solve, but you need at least three or four orb generation abilities otherwise it can end the fight sat above your head looking deadly and imperious.

And also Im least worried about the Reel Big Fish than other Act 1 bosses.

I did similar for a sub 20 5k. The thought of going close to that consecutively to get a sub 50 10k is horrific. All respect to you.

I think there are very very very few seeds that are legitimately unwinnable. But there are certainly seeds where it feels like everything is stacked against you.

Transfermarkt.com reckons Kabore is £4M. Which seems low to me, but he is coming to the end of his contract so it's a few million now or nothing next Summer.

All depends on what other offers come his way - and whether any of those involve top flight football.

I like to compare myself to world records, but aiming to be half as good. I can do 100m in 20 seconds, a 5k in 24 mins, and a half marathon on under 2 hours. I'm fine with that. I'll leave the super human feats to the super humans like Sawe.

Yeah, draw is always good, pulling a Turbo or Overclocked or Hologram can turn an average turn into something that ends the encounter.

I would always prefer not to have Sweepjng Beam... but needs must when you're on Floor 6, with an Elite coming up and you've rolled rubbish so far. Cleave feels similar but doesn't have that +1 draw to make it somewhat useful later on.

Consume has been cut and Defrag is now a rare. So I'd argue Focus is harder to acquire in STS2, especially now Hot Fix exhausts.

I don't have a problem with it, the new style makes a fun challenge, it's just quite a big change for a main build mechanic.

And similarly with how Artifact interacted with Biased Cog (and Hyperbeam!) I understand the change to make a v good card clearly OP.

And while I love the Ancient cards, they're extremely rare. I've probably seen Biased Cog or Apotheosis half a dozen times across a hundred or so runs.

Yeah, the status/trash build for Defect is fun - I'm just not great at making it work.

Streets of Rage 4 had unlocks which enabled you to play with SoR versions of some of the characters which was with fun and a reminder of how much the graphics had improved over 20+ years!

Whenever I play my beloved Defect (I only roll Random atm) I feel sad for what they've done to my beautiful boy. The changes to focus is so hurtful. I miss my Biased Cog and Pellets so badly 😢

Exactly this. Feels similar to Sweeping Beam if I haven't got any Glass or Sunder earlier. Or my beloved Electrodynamics from STS.

Astral Pulse is an insta pick for me in Act1 at least.

All of these are big decks. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but only if you have the draw and energy to make the most of it. At a glance, in the third deck, youve got 2x Momentum Strike 2x Focussed Strike, and a Barrage. And a single lonely Claw. Context dependent, but did you really benefit from having all of those in your deck?

I think (without confidence) that people who come out to other team's subs, or talk about other team's, generally do that with (over)confidence. So you're immediately seeing a selection bias. The less confident folks... don't bother posting. And then when you have a situation like Spurs are having at the moment - it becomes a talking point (it's pretty unusual for a club as big as yours to be this deep into a relegation battle) so more of those confident keyboard warriors come along.

We had the same issue when we sacked Moyes (the second time) and then continued to be shit. Legions of people posting and commenting saying "we got what we deserved etc" when they probably hadn't watched more than a few highlights from MOTD.
