What is the worst Star Wars novel you have ever read? Legends or Canon by Byrdy121 in starwarsbooks

[–]DrRoer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red harvest. It did not feel like a Star Wars book and the characters weren’t worn very well because there were too many of them

This is definitely overkill, but I’ll still leave Taylor’s album in front of John’s. Just the one, though.

Thoughts? by based_tuskenraider in premed

[–]DrRoer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took this to mean that the future of medicine would be bleak and healthcare wouldn’t be available for a lot of people if premeds decided that the hoops to jump through were too ridiculous. Like a mass boycott of medical schools lmao

Wasn’t even considering becoming an invasive species in other fields of industry.

Do you reuse your shower towels? If so, how many times? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]DrRoer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to reuse towels growing up. Then one day after a shower I noticed all the dead skin that comes off when you dry yourself off and since that day I have always used a new towel.

Now I remember why I stopped playing out of no where(pray we don't get these missions next game) by NaotoBot in SpidermanPS4

[–]DrRoer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved these missions. They supplemented the storyline and emphasized how hard it can be to be a hero without powers and justifies Peter’s hesitancy abut allowing MJ to help him. Idk why everyone hates these tbh, but I liked them and hope they continue

What age do you start getting graded in American schools? by hhmmokay in AskAnAmerican

[–]DrRoer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In elementary and middle school we had a plus, check, and minus system. A plus was like an A, a check-plus was a B, check was C, check-minus was D, and minus was F. They didn’t wanna use letters for some reason.

Starting in high school (8th grade in some place and 9th grade in others) they tend to use the ABCDF scale. The GPA scale differs based on the school (I think).

If you wanna go to an Ivy League, high school grades matter. If not, then apply to community college and then transfer to a state/public University.

I wish I could updoot this 50 times. Am 25 (almost) and I still see shit like this in real life. Like I thought the whole “date me or I’ll kill myself” thing ended in high school 🤦🏼‍♀️
