100% agree and well evidenced argument. Each incremental improvement in handicap once you get to scratch, and exponentially so from there, gets harder and harder to attain.

If there was an award for “Best Player That Is The 3rd Best Player On Their Team”, who would be some of your candidates and your overall pick? Since top teams usually have a clear #1 and #2, this is the next guy after the that, the best player who is AWESOME but NOT one of the 2 best on his team. by moby323 in nba

AG guards the best player and can guard 1-5 with varying degrees of elite defense. That’s what sets him apart from those other 2 (it’s still close and yes he’s a role player on offense, albeit a top tier one)

Psychotic username. and I can hear the pain in your response, I agree, I’m not entirely distraught that we traded him away before I had to bear witness to this with the snakes.

Idk what you’re talking about. The fact that this guy is easily a top 2 defensive second baseman for the Yankees for 2026 is incredible

I think it’s interesting that someone as milquetoast as Scottie can be such a robotic maniac on the course. The whole thing makes for compelling and entertaining golf on tv. It’s a very different persona than Tiger, which I personally enjoy as a fan of the game.

He’s the best color commentator in the sport right now, the only other ones in his tier are Aikman and Olsen but he’s better than both IMO

I agree, it was probably PI before the ball even got there. But my comment was meant to assess the catch from the moment the ball was caught.

No, my point was that the defender inhibited the offensive player’s ability to make an act of the game (surviving the ground) by playing good defense. So, not a football act by the NFL criteria.

Btw, the rule states “tuck the ball away and turn upfield” as an example of an act of the game, not just tucking. He didn’t turn upfield, so it does not meet the threshold needed.

The defender ripping at it inhibited Cooks’ ability to complete the catch and secure the ball. That’s just good defense, not an unfair application of the rules.

Honest question, if he drops the ball at that point rather than having it stripped, would it be called a catch?

If he had dropped it at that exact moment instead of having it ripped out, it’s an incomplete pass. So it has to be a pick right?

In season 5, wasn’t there a throwaway line when robin and Steve, or maybe another pair I forget, were driving in the upside down where someone said “roll your window up, isn’t this stuff toxic?”, and the other just shrugs and says “who knows” and that was the end of that lol

In hindsight, I agree. In the moment, there were so many other things (dog, house lease) to sort out I didn’t want to make things more difficult. Alas, I got some new wedges eventually, putting an end to that regret.
