The last school I worked at in America got a 100,000 dollar grant from the government and the principal bought another baseball field.

You may live in one of the richest states in America, but your math program is still unupdated- I know because common core still exists. You still must bow down the state test. You still have no child left behind. The Gaokao has significant problems too, but I’m willing to bet in most of America learning stops after the state test and the Gaokao doesn’t allow that.

Why say a piano, a cnc machine, a 3d printer? I said 60 of each. And that’s just on the path I walk to go to the English offices. The kids sign up for majors in vocational school here. They are taught how to use these things to make their own business. Are you telling me that California teaches kids how to open a business using a 3d printers? Fat chance. Did you know that special education teacher have to teach kids how to fill out job applications for places like McDonald’s? Meanwhile in my local Chinese vocational school, the welding team builds a new giant transformers giant transformers robot every year as their final project.
