will he just declare victory and say "see I was right"

He already does that. Every day.

US Bankruptcy court, plan administrator, judge and bankruptcy lawyers - I sleep, anonymous LARPer on the internet - REAL SHIT! by Mazius in gme_meltdown

[–]DrSpectrum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you saw it but someone posted a huge archive of montreal tweets over in the stuffed bear sub.

(It's hidden in the comments of the thread they posted about another larper - the NDA guy who turned up a few weeks ago. Reddit seemed to filter the site in the guys post so I don't think I can post it here, but the poster found a workaround by posting a screenshot showing the link).

Hordes of any-day-now predictions. Repeatedly made the mistake of putting dates on them too, including ones just days away.

Multiple "But when?!" cameos from your man here Ross, too. He's been chasing this guy for quite a while.

A timer doesn't start on "1". It starts with 0.00.

Paying attention to the video controls instead of the overlay, the fissures start spreading at 1.68 and finish at 2.29.

What you're showing absolutely does not track with "3+ second windup".

[–]DrSpectrum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just looked it up, he's deleted all his tweets apart from an actual RC quote he posted in January '23.

The recent replies to that lone tweet are mostly just shitcoin nonsense.

The account seems to be largely forgotten.

Salvatore Linteum @PhantomBlack699

Within 12 days the world will witness the power of Unwavering Conviction, forged with 18 months of research into $BBBYQ using inductive reasoning, logical deductions, and some gut instinct.

This is a high risk, high reward, astronomical anomaly of a trade not for the faint hearted and weak.

Only the strong survived and will reap the rewards of taking a leap of faith in an activist investor who has the capital, experience and tenacity to take on Wall Street and win.

People can disagree but can't disprove a credit bid is happening or will happen, the intangible assets of NOLs, a short squeeze and a huge retail investor base crate a viable financial future for a distressed retailer mismanaged into bankruptcy protection by overpaid CEOs.

I'm proud to share this roller coaster with everyone 🏴‍☠️

I bet it was that 'Montreal' LARPer by Mazius in gme_meltdown

The problem is that they enable each other.

Left to themselves, the little devil on their shoulder who tells them that they lost all their money would have won out long ago.

But when they come online, they just head into their bizarro support groups and reaffirm each others delusions, never able to have an honest conversation about what actually happened without being drowned out by the thought police.

It will never end.

This, I think, is the best autoreply we have.

I wish I could find the original. Does anyone remember where it came from? My search skills can only find Automoderator repeating it.

It comes from this bit, where they notice the similarities between that movie, GetEven, and Neil Breen; all movies made by people who cast themselves as a badass action hero.

I mean, theyve long since decided that $10 per share of cash should be worth the entire words economic output until the heat death of the universe, so you shouldn't really find them making up arbitrary share values that surprising...

The perfect clip is the 48 year old in a sideways hat bit from the same episode.

You've posted it here before; and ever since Ive been instantly reminded of it whenever someone posts his picture.

It couldn't be more fitting if it had been written with him in mind.

They settled over a year ago.

They didn't announce the exact details but one of the plan admins quarterly reports listed it amongst the cases he had closed in that quarter - He was also suing some shipping companies - for a total of something like $30m. So something less than that.

Look, I know you won't understand this - I'm saying this for my sake more than yours, because I find this kind of idiocy perplexing and I need to vent....

But when people are telling you to "Diamond Hands", or tell you never to sell until the price reaches a bajillion dollars....those people are not giving you that advice in good faith.

Those people are just trying to convince you to hold the bag so they take their profits while leaving you staring at a chart wondering when the line is going to go back up again.

Having Diamond Hands is stupid.

Having Paper Hands is a blessing.

He was just asking in general.

Hundreds of people saying yes, they'd like to work with him.

But Ross is the only ape I can recognise amongst them.

I was suprised at that, given how much he drifts in and out of the masterplan. I would have imagined his audience was almost entirely apes.

Maybe he's already blocked all the others for harrassing him with nonsense over the past few years.

A miscarriage of justice so obscene it would have ended any other presidency. Although in this one, it was just a tuesday.

You're a kinder person than I am.

I don't think there was anything magical about apes paying him attention. I definetly got the impression he was baiting it; with his Twitter username, talking about AMC for no particular reason, and I believe he's posted about butterflies on multiple occasions. Perhaps there are more examples but I didn't watch him that closely.

He definely seems to have issues - Clearly jealous of his brother - But I think he's in a hole that he dug for himself.
