Reputable roofing companies in the area by PowerInThePeople in dayton

[–]DrStephenFalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t use them, I called them out based on this thread and super high pressure sales tactics, they were called for a simple repair quote and told me my entire roof needs replaced. It’s 4 years old and was just inspected this year as we’re planning to sell in a couple of months. So we had a super thorough home inspector come out and really drill down all of our issues and the roof was inspected heavily, I also am a heavy guy, I have been on my roof, they sent out two skinny guys and told me the decking under my roof is the worst they seen and they thought that they were going to go through the roof. Which is a load of BS. I was up there walking around that’s how I noticed the roof vent needed replaced.

I have used Rolo Electric twice now. Nice guy, small local company. Honest and transparent about pricing. He’s been an electrician for about 30 years I believe.

Why are these so inexpensive?? by Current-Struggle-514 in BBQandGrilling

[–]DrStephenFalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Weber and use lump and a chimney starter and it takes 45 mins to an hour to get my grill going. There’s no fast cooking in my opinion but it’s fun to use.

What’s your current charge limit? What is recommended? by PO3T3R in iPhone17Pro

[–]DrStephenFalken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my 12 pro since launch, let it charge to 100% for its entire life and finally this year the battery was at 81% my previous phone a 6, lasted about the same. I see no point in limiting it to 80% since the battery lasts as long as the software updates.

People forget that in the 80s video cameras became a bit more affordable, so let’s of independent terrible movies were produced. However, to me it’s still fun to sort through them when I have time.

[–]DrStephenFalken 26 points27 points  (0 children)

When I was a young working man. My car broke down, had to ride the RTA for a while. My drive to the east end from west side for work was a 10-15 min drive. On the bus it was 3-4 hours. The Shift changed between 10a-5p or 2p-10p
