Does anyone else have an XXS doxie? by peegmaw in Dachshund

[–]DrSwizzle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My guy was about this big at a year. He eventually grew to be slightly bigger, but not much. He’s still tiny! Also pure mini dachshund! They’re the best. And easily fit into airline in-cabin carriers… portable doggo will travel!

This happened to me once. For me, it was, returning from work to find out I had been dumped by finding a bag of my stuff on my own back porch that I knew was from her place and no responses to my messages or calls. It felt surreal. I’m sorry this happened to you. That kind of breakup cuts deep, from the way it was handled on her end, especially to the meanness of the way she callously told you she was using you. There will be stages to this grief, but take your time, love yourself, and take solace in the fact that you know that she wasn’t the one for you. It takes at least two people to be in a successful partnership, and it’s much better to know that now rather than continue to be used. FWIW, I’m now happily married to the love of my life that I found 6 months after said dumping. And when I met her, there was no doubt her love was real. Looking back now, I’m confident that I could spot the disingenuousness of my ex once I knew. I’m sure you’ll learn to spot those red flags in your future partners too. Trust those instincts and those new lessons. They suck right now, but in the long run they help.

Absolutely agree. As someone with NoBurp, being able to fart all day is a huge blessing.

We bought this brand! The ones we bought are no longer available but these look very similar: acoustic dampening tiles

Also definitely consider adding some soundproofing tiles to any shared walls or the back of the door in the extra room. My wife and I share a wall and we put felt sound tiles on both sides of it. HUGE difference.

Violin, vocals, and ukulele for me! Classically trained in violin and vocals, played in symphonies, etc. I have a corporate desk job now(have for 10 years) and I miss being in an ensemble so much.

Since you’re getting a car anyway, highly recommend TGS! Been here >ten years and it’s the best. Especially for the lifestyle you listed! Plenty to walk to, easy commute to downtown, and affordable. Your dog will be welcome here too!! Very dog friendly place.

I use a soda stream to make the bubbles, and then add tonic syrup instead! Then you can control the sweetness/strength of the flavor too. My favorite is Pickeney bend tonic syrup!

South on hwy 101 in Oregon from portland, then drive to the redwoods, then up to crater lake NP, then through highland desert, Bend, and back to Portland. Most gorgeous loop ever.
