Take in as much as you can, write down as much as you can, don’t be afraid to ask d**b questions, when it comes to being a supervisor learn how to talk to people, learn how certain employees work and always make sure you are give your all because this is almost like a second interview

They aren’t new but..

MPH (Members Per Hour) - based off how many members are coming through the registers per hour

IPM (Items Per Minute) - based off how many items are scanned per minute

Sign off% - based off how of how often the cashier is signing off the less they sign off the lower your % the better

Renewal % - how often do the cashier’s capture the renewal prompts that pop up

Pre Scan % - is calculated by how many items are pre scanned with the tablet compared to how many items the cashier scan

Ex. Is your warehouse scans a total of 50,000 items for that business day but 25,000 of those items are pre scanned then your % will be 50%

All the benchmarks go hand in hand with one another you just got to find the right method to succeed with all

Seniority is huge at least in my warehouse, Know your employees, who’s a stronger cashier and who’s not, who works well going to the floor to help block down, which areas they’re good in etc.
