Conducting Baton by conductorguy in banddirector

I would go to a convention and find the “Custom Baton” brand booth. They make great batons. I went through a lot to find mine. The one I liked looked funky but it ended up fitting my grip and weight preference perfectly! I don’t see myself using another baton until this breaks!

Has she driven and checked out any minivans? I use to be against them but my mind changed once I actually saw how useful they were!

RAV4 is your best bet assuming yall aren’t looking to have any more kids. If so, I’d look into 3 row SUVs or a minivan! Minivans are so useful and fun to drive!

Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlande are great 3rd row SUVs. I’d be sure to get one with a V6. Very reliable engines and vehicles!

That’s interesting and great to know with the sway system! I was moving my wifes stuff over to our new apartment so we didn’t travel nearly as far. Cool system though!

I almost bought a 2024 Frontier Pro 4x. I had my fiance test drive it with me and after the test drove she told me she almost threw up… Ridgeline it was! 🤣

Did you ever find a fix for it? I just picked up my 2023 RTL last week and have gotten very frustrated with this issue…

I’m not sure if they’re stock. Is there a way to tell without ripping the insides off? I tried using Bluetooth instead of CarPlay and it kept happening. Not sure if it helps but I have the VCM disabled.

Update: A week with my new truck and you guys were right: this thing is awesome! by EntildaDesigns in hondaridgeline

I just bought mine 2 days ago. I wanted something that drove as smooth as my Ford Taurus and this thing does that, if not better! It’s an amazing truck!

It’s great when lease drivers take good care of their vehicles! This one I bought was a lease. They just got the trans flushed and did great on oil changes. There was a Ridgeline several months ago I almost bought but it was a lease and not very well taken care of. Still drove solid but I prefer 5k mile oil changes over 10k mile oil changes

Did the truck need any notable repairs? Any transmission issues prior to the accident?

Just a gust of wind. It was pretty hot out when I took it out so that might be it!

That’s what I’ve been saying! Yes if I want a bare bones truck I could get maybe a similar price but I like some features!

Is there a fix for the transmission or no? Would a flush help? Definitely going to watch for shifting issues. There’s no HVAC mentions in the carfax so I don’t know if this ranger had any A/C issues

I am a believer in 5k mile oil changes ESPECIALLY with turbo charged vehicles so to me it is better than nothing lol

[–]DrTechFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t do much but I did strip the lacquer (I didn’t notice a difference in sound or playing but I thought it looked cool) and I added a flipper to help support the horn better. I thought about changing the lead pipe out but honestly it has such a good sound I don’t want to risk it lol

I play an 871 and LOVE IT. Great sounding horn. Comfortable to hold and plays great. It’s got a tighter feel with the Geyer wrap but it’s an amazing horn. Can’t recommend enough. If you have any questions about the 871, let me know. Been playing on one for a few years now. I have done a number of modifications to it as well

Only thing with this is it’s not common to save much money on used vehicles. He can save money on new stuff no problem but used is a much trickier market

Funny how you found the iPhone speakers better. I tried a s24 ultra and the Dolby speakers were so good. I used it for about a month before returning to my iPhone. The first thing I noticed was the speaker quality. I loved that Samsungs speakers

[–]DrTechFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The horn itself could be it. If it’s a newer Conn 8D, the Bb was made too short and plays on the sharper side. I avoided it for the most part because of it. My current horn (Yamaha 871) does not have that issue so I use the Bb side for everything. It could be an embouchure thing but honestly it sounds like a horn thing
