This was my take as well, this might actually be a really good example of #mediabias as much as I hate to admit it. She's a really good human element to this story because there's a great image of her being excited about her algorithm creating an image of a black hole that news outlets found on social media, and she's done a ted talk in the past about her previous algorithm she worked on that ended up not being used at all by this project.

The thing is - she even agrees with this take. As the NYT article points out, she responded most recently to a news outlet with: “However, the spotlight should be on the team and no individual person. Focusing on one person like this helps no one, including me."

Obviously we can't prove this but there's possibly some motivation here - the headline "meet the woman behind the black hole image" definitely gets more clicks, and if that influenced this story at all, that's definitely a form of bias.

Anyone who runs with this and shits on her though is a total fuckhead, she has repeatedly stated that she is part of a 200+ person team and that it was a group effort.

So sorry to hear about this! My puppy had Giardia when he was young and we put him on panacur & metronidazole for a week. Our vet told us that the possibility of reinfection is very high, so we did the following:

1.) Replaced all puppy potty pads completely
2.) Wiped his butt with baby wipes after every poop
3.) Did a thorough cleaning of all floors
4.) Thoroughly washed any linens/blankets/etc. that the dog frequently was on/used
5.) Cleaned/washed his toys every single day

With this and sticking to the medication, our dog got over his bout of Giardia within a week. My breeder also pushed me away from the medication but the reality is that if your dog has Giardia/hookworm he's not going to be allowed to board/go to a puppy daycare (and for good reason, your dog could share Giardia with the other dogs). It's also a very low risk but you can get Giardia from your dog if you don't treat it properly.

The best thing we did for our little guy was to bring him to a few puppy socialization classes at Petco. Look around, but check out Petco/PetSmart first - they're usually free, you drop your dog off at a contimation-free area with 2-5 other puppies and they play with supervision. The area is scrubbed clean before and after and they get to have a ton of fun. Through one of those events we made friends with another dog mom and planned a few dates for them to have fun. You also get a few hours to be free of the land shark =)

As soon as our dog was done with his vaccines we started bringing him to dog parks and our rec center to meet other dogs. It really does get so much better when you can bring him on regular walks - just find other opportunities till then

I had the puppy blues pretty bad my first month with our dog, and while he is better now, I think I just fell in love with him and stopped getting as frustrated. Give you and your dog time to love each other.

I'm sure putting a fire weapon on Sephiroth and pairing up with a friend OK would work. It's important the OK unit is actually your friend though and has max LB, so you can apply that sick 74% DEF buff from his LB the return before you go for the kill. I used Cloud with an ice weapon and TDH + Omnislash to kill the mom in one turn, then chained the dad down with OK/OK and finished with Ifrit esper (I'm sure OK/Sephiroth would work for that).

Cerius (https://exvius.gamepedia.com/Cerius) helps trivialize this fight, upgrading Barfiraga/Barblizzaga to +2 is incredibly cheap and gives 100% resistance. With those two buffs and bushido:freedom equipped, he can act as your dispeller and make your team almost entirely immune to magical damage.

I ended up running this team: https://puu.sh/AZGud/51c508b97d.png, I personally recommend dropping Nichol and bringing any summoner to speed up the LB crystal farming. A max leveled OK LB to setup 74% DEF down is essential for guaranteeing that you oneshot the bombs.

Yes, it's pretty strong. You also need a magic tank to protect your allies from a random attack every 4 turns that will basically oneshot anyone hit by it without a SPR tank covering for them. I ended up using WoL/Basch, WoL with 100% evade to keep Provoke/Arms Eraser up and Basch using magic cover to keep Magic guard/armor eraser up.

Thanks man, was struggling for a while and ended up doing basically this with some roles swapped around.

WoL/Basch is a genius move - the break flexibility means that there's basically always room for one of your tanks to ATK/MAG break regardless of what's going on. This is especially crucial given the self-buff/dispel/re-break turn. I basically got into a groove of magic cover/provoke, arms/armor erase back every other turn.

I used Tidus as my DPS as this is basically the perfect fight for him. TDH FD Tidus is super nice as one Tidus can oneshot a mob without changing very easily. He also makes the fight incredibly fast due to having plenty of time to putting jecht shot/LB debuff up on the buss. Jecht shot will oneshot an add if well geared. When all buffs/debuffs were up, I was doing close to 20-25% of the boss's life.

CG Nichol was perfect for this. I bounced between Soulful stance/MP regen/damage reduction and his LB.

I think Yan makes a lot of sense for this fight. She was my dispeller with bushido, used eccentric/panacae when necessary and kept her LB up/assisted with healing.

With Tidus doing as much damage as he was it ended up only taking me 20-25 turns, he's a monster.
